Well… final winter tournament didn’t go as planned, but it sure was a blast coaching these players and watching them grow through the season.
Good luck in school ball! Coach Tim and I are your biggest fans and will be cheering you on from the sidelines!

Incredibly proud of these ladies right here! Even though we came up a few runs short, they played some of their best softball this weekend! They arrived at the field this morning at 12:45 am and left as runners up at 8am.
Leading up to the championship game we went undefeated. Our defense only gave up one run through the first four games, we were aggressive on the bases, and patient at the plate.
We had a redemption game and shutout a team 6-0 who previously thumped us in our last tournament.
In the Championship game, we found ourselves down 0-6 heading into the final inning with time expired. It looked like we ran out of steam. After a timely single to get us started by Meredith Adelsperger, a walk by Lauren Wright, and then a base clearing triple by Ava Everman, we were making the other team sweat. Then another single by Jadyn Underwood scored our 3rd run.
Unfortunately our bats got hot just a little too late and we didn’t close it out.
Shoutout to the whole team for very solid play all weekend. The future is bright!
Your Phoenix girls went 2-0 and landed the #1 seed yet again during the early hours this morning.
Ava Everman and Lucy Long both threw shutouts in the circle and had help from a solid defensive showing!
We will be back at it, facing the NW Blue Devils starting at 1:50am tomorrow morning for the start of bracket play.

Our 2024’s showed up this past weekend with the lumber! 💥 🥎 💣
Congrats to our weekly stats leaders at the plate! Our team AVG was .520. We racked up (24) H, (4) 2B, (3) 3B, (1) HR over three games.
This marks our third tournament in a row where these athletes have batted over .500 as a team on the weekend!
We also had four others bat .500 on the weekend.

These ladies went undefeated into the championship yesterday. Unfortunately we didn’t get to play our “if game” and dropped the final game to a team we previously beat.
Bats were on fire! Our team AVG was .509 and racked up 27 hits over three games.
We had 8 players bat over .500!
On to our indoor showcase in Ft Wayne next Saturday!
