made a short musical movie based on the true story of the bear that roamed free for a week in Eagle Rock and I’m honored that she asked me to star in it opposite the bear. And now we’re premiering at the Oscar-qualifying festival and just won the short film contest!! Music by the incredible Michael Mahler. Love making movies with friends❣️🎬🎶🐻

It’s hard to put into words the overwhelming wave of emotions I experienced returning to Highland Park this weekend, my beautiful hometown where lives were senselessly taken on July 4th. I grew up going to the parade every year, and it was always a truly joyous town tradition. I’m so grateful my friends and family were safe, but many of them experienced a trauma they will never forget. My heart breaks for all those who lost their loved ones in an instant. This tragedy may have left an indelible wound, but it can’t destroy the supportive spirit of this incredible community. And I hope the future will bring a day when we don’t hear of a new shooting every week, a day when deadly weapons are not legally put into the hands of disturbed murderers 💙

In case you were wondering, yes, that’s an Omi👑 I’m wearing. After two years and 3 Pfizers, I tested positive for the first time… on Christmas Day 🎁. I had what felt like a bad sinus infection for two days and I’m happy to report that today I tested negative and feel great and grateful. Stay safe out there everyone❣️
