The Community Based Policing Dinner is an annual event that brings members of the Toronto Police Service and the Asian community together for an evening of dining and partnership building.
This year the members of the Service and the community will unite to help raise funds for the Hong F**k Mental Health Foundation. Since 1982, the Hong F**k Mental Health Foundation has been serving Asian communities in the Greater Toronto Area by promoting wellness and managing illness. The foundation, along with providing mental health services, dedicates to improve lives by providing programs, such as Clinical Care, Integrated Recovery, Youth and Family, Primary Care, Family Support, and Prevention and Promotion.
For the past 27 years, the Community Based Policing Dinner has drawn the attention of the community as their opportunity to show their unwavering support for the Toronto Police Service. Every year, the success of the event is due to Toronto Police Service members attending and connecting with the community.
On behalf of Deputy Chief Peter Yuen, we cordially invite you, your family, and your friends to join us for the 28th Annual Community Based Policing Dinner, an evening to strengthen our partnerships with existing members of the community and meet new faces of the neighbourhoods we serve.
