Sunday gratitudes✨

Day exploring with Bean & Baldy🥰

When I was home Jeff had started his new job so worked through the week and my mum and me had been helping gut out my Granny and Papa’s house. So with all this going on plus me doing other visits we didn’t really get any real time together🤷🏼‍♀️

So on the Saturday, the day before I left we all went gallivanting: we went to upto Drumtochy to have a walk in the woods and see the church and on the way back down to Fife we stopped in at Lunan Bay🏖

Later on for our tea we all (plus Uncle Steve) went to Kirkcaldy for a Valente’s chippy😋

I really enjoyed our wee day out together to get away and just spend some chill time before I left🥰

How cute is this wee church??🥺

Happy Tuesdayyyy✨

Here’s some raw unedited pics from my trip back home🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

These were taken on a local walk very close to my town, it was a really nice night. We went had a wander, had a pit stop🥂 and continued back home where I then had a Chinese for my tea😋

The reason I’m not editing these pictures isn’t really for a particular reason; could a couple get brightened a bit? Could they be tweaked to perfection? Of course, and of course I usually edit most of my posts but this time I just really liked the pictures I took, I had such a fab time at home and I don’t want to try and perfect it🥰

All pictures were taken on my iPhone and I think they’ve all came out pretty so leaving them untouched🙌🏼

I guess Fife isn’t that bad🤷🏼‍♀️🤣would yous like to go?🌈

Here’s a few unedited pics of a couple walks I done with my friends back home✨

I do definitely take the place I live for granted sometimes, it can be really beautiful😍

More walking pics from Scotland coming soon🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Have you every visited the Kingdom of Fife?👑

Desert Castle Tour in Jordan✨

We visited these 3 beautiful castles:

1. Qasr Al-Kharanah was the first castle we visited on our tour, it’s got many open rooms and you can walk around the full building including upstairs

2. Qasr Amra was the second castle on our tour and it was so beautiful. The design was so unique and the inside was covered in beautiful paintings of ancient kings and hunting scenes😍

3. Qasr Azraq was the last and largest of the castles we visited. It has so many rooms to view. It’s set up more like a fortress rather than a castle

They were all so unique😍

Would you do this tour?🤩

This weekend is all about ME✨

I’m all alone this weekend as this guys away back to Scotland without me💩sooo I’m taking this free time to enjoy my own company which is something I can struggle with. I tell everyone “I like to choose to be alone, I don’t like being left alone” and I feel that’s something a lot of people can probably relate to🤔

It’s not that I don’t like my own company because sometimes I love being on my own, I just like it to be a choice - I don’t like being forced to be on my own but I want to change that🤩

I did get invited to others this weekend so I wasn’t by myself but I’ve decided to take it in my stride and try just enjoy it. I am fine during the day, I just don’t like night time, that’s when I need to phone people🤣

I’m definitely a work in progress but it isn’t going as bad as I thought it would🥰

I’d love to know, is anyone else the same? 🙋🏼‍♀️

Ajlun Castle is a stunning 12th century
castle built strategically on top of Mount ‘Auf. It was built there due to the clear views across Jordan Valley which allowed an easy lookout for invaders. The castle is still standing after 2 major earthquakes😱

Our tour guide there was so lovely and very informative - the history behind this castle is unreal🤩

And look at the viewwwssss😍

Add this to your to do list in Jordan🇯🇴

Okokokok so the best thing about our visit to White Beach was the PUPPIES🐶

Look at how cute they are😭😍

Name me a better day than chillin at the beach with puppies - I dare you to try (but you will fail🤣)

Photos from Travel with Danielle's post 04/02/2022

We chose to go to Port Barton because it’s known for being quaint - we’d had a busy start to our trip in the Philippines and just wanted a couple of days to relax before diving into the hectic tourists spots like El Nido and Coron🤪

White Beach is a stunning white sand beach in Port Barton, Palawan. We got there by boat and even though it is the most popular beach in the area it didn’t feel busy which was nice!😌

There’s hammocks hung up on the trees, a couple of tree swings and a wee bar to get some food and drinks🍹 and there was an even better surprise which will be shown in my next post🤫

Snorkelling here isn’t great - the water wasn’t very clear but deffo take a mask just incase🤿

Photos from Travel with Danielle's post 02/02/2022

Once we left Camiguin we headed to Port Barton for a couple of chill days😌

We spent one of our days at White Beach which was stunning - I’ll talk about it more in my next post🙌They had this cute little beach swing which I obv had to get a shot of✨

Swipe to the end to see the reality of how I looked on the swing🤣

Photos from Travel with Danielle's post 27/01/2022

Okay so we’ve covered Camiguin’s stunning beaches so now let’s look at their waterfalls😍

The first waterfall is Tuasan Falls, swimming was fab here😍for the most part it is shallow enough to touch the bottom however there are a few deep areas and the flow of the waterfall was insane🤩

The second waterfall is Katibawasan Falls - this is the tallest waterfall in Camiguin at a height of 70 metres tall😱to get here you actually work your way higher into the mountains so the scooter could only take one of us up part of the journey at a time as it was so steep🤣my friend got ditched at the bottom while I got taken half way up then I was left half way up the hill while our driver went back and got Kendel🤣

This is an island you don’t want to skip🥰

23/01/2022

Mantigue Island is another beautiful island off the coast of Camiguin😍

The island is a 4 hectare protected area that has beautiful white sand beaches around the outskirts of the island and in the centre there are stunning greenery🌲

There are little places to buy drinks and eat local food, you can rent little beach huts to have somewhere to chill out in the shade or leave your things and lastly (obviously) you can go for a wee dip in the blue waters✨

Definitely add this little island to your list✅

Photos from Travel with Danielle's post 08/01/2022

White Island is a little sand bar in the Bohol Sea off the coast of Camiguin Island 🏝

It is a soft white sand beach surrounded by crystal clear waters and you have the stunning Camiguin as your backdrop😍 this is one of the most popular tourist spots in Camiguin so it’s best to get there early!

There’s nothing on White Island - all you can do is swim and sunbathe! However as there is no natural shade it does get very hot 🥵 but it makes a fab relaxing start to your day✨

Photos from Travel with Danielle's post 06/01/2022

I can’t believe is been 2 years since these pictures were taken😱

Camiguin is a beautiful little island with loads to offer from its Volcanos to its waterfalls and stunning clear waters😍

I would love to go back again one day💖

My second a day recap of 2021✨

We got to explore Scotland more and go on loads of walks🗻 we managed to move over to Germany and do some exploring over here✨and I was finally able to meet up with some new friends and catch up with some old ones who I hadn’t seen in years 🤩

Here’s to a bigger and better 2022💖

19/12/2021

Not looking so glam this weekend🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ve been quite quiet on here the past week or so and it’s because we were busy deciding if we should go home due to circumstances - we then decided last minute to go home for a holiday and had to rush around getting everything ready🙃🤣

We went home for Craigs sisters wedding which was fab🤩was in a beautiful venue called Thainstone House😍while there we stayed in this cute little hotel called Banks of Ury and had an amazing breakfast in the morning😋

We were only home Friday to Wednesday so went up to Inverurie for the wedding and I headed back down to Fife on Sunday to spend a couple days with my fam💖

So glad we did choose go home was nice seeing everyone before spending our first Christmas away in Germany🎄

05/12/2021

Walkway to the Old Volcano has some stunning viewpoints😍

We heading up for sunset hoping it wouldn’t be as hot - we were wrong😅 if you do this walk make sure you have plenty of water and comfortable shoes as some of the walk is a dirt path.

There are also “14 stations” along the way with statues portraying various stages of the crucifixion of Christ. Even if you’re not religious you can still enjoy this walk 🤩

30/11/2021

Throwing myself off some rocks🤷🏼‍♀️

Canyoneering at Kawasan Falls was AMAZING!

We went with JoePro Adventures who were fab, they were so helpful the whole time and ensured everyone felt comfortable and safe🤩
The meal provided was really good too😋

This was such a fun activity and I would recommend it to EVERYONE! It was so beautiful - and again I cannot recommend JoePro Adventures enough! They were all so lovely☺️

Here’s a (classic half a face teen) picture of mummy mumma and me in Pisa🇮🇹

This was taken in 2015 and it was my mums first holiday abroad😱we had gotten badly burnt the days before at the beach and were trying our hardest to stay out of the sun😅

Honestly have so many stories about this trip which I’m not even going to get into🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

Has anyone else been to Pisa?✨

Happy Hump Day 🐪

Halloween is almost here so let’s throwback to the last time I actually dressed up and done anything (2 years ago - 2019😱🤣)

I had just come home from living in France - literally the night before and headed out with a couple of friends🥂

This year Craig and I will be in Munich but don’t have anything planned🤷🏼‍♀️

What’s everyone else doing this halloween? 🎃

Thought I’d do a wee today as I’ve been reminiscing Rome🇮🇹

I moved to Rome in April 2018 to work for a company called Eurocamp. This was my first time moving out and I was moving to a different country all by myself😬

Everyone presumes that this is a scary thing to do but for me, it wasn’t🤷🏼‍♀️I’d fallen in love with the idea of travelling years before by watching older people from my town go and do it - the issue was I had to wait😩 I spent a year at college and working because I wasn’t 18 yet so I couldn’t get a job to go🙃

I applied for the job in March 2018 not long after my 19th birthday, I got an interview on the 3rd of April and flew over on the 13th😱. I had so much to do; renew my passport, buy summer clothes, get a suitcase, everything😅 so I didn’t have enough time to panic about if it was a good idea or not, I got the job and was gone within 10 days!🤯

It was honestly the best thing I could’ve ever done. Here I am now, 3 years later, thinking back on all the amazing things I’ve done since then because I have the confidence (this is why you’ll also hear me say “Rome is Home” sometimes)🤩 I’ve lived in Italy, France, Germany and travelled some of South-East Asia😍I can’t wait for what’s to come😇

So here a pic of me living my best Lizzie McGuire moment✨

My favourite thing about Germany is the Blumen fields✨

There is one in pretty much every town with an honesty box so you can pick your own flowers😍

I think it’s such a cute idea - I wish there was more of these back home🥰

Photos from Travel with Danielle's post 13/10/2021

Heidelberg is a stunning wee town on the Neckar River. It is known for its gothic castles and it’s red sandstone castle situated beautifully on the hill with views overlooking the old town✨

There are also many walking routes here; one taking you to the first signs of habitation in Heidelberg dating back to 4th Century BC🤯

Baden-Baden a couple weeks ago for Craigs birthday😍

I wish we had researched more before going because you can paraglide from here which would’ve been a dream🤩

The saddest part about losing my old Instagram is the amount of people I’ve now lost contact with due to not remembering all their usernames😫goodness knows when or if I’ll be back in touch with them again😞

My account was a great way for me to find likeminded people and started many friendships🥰with my new page I hope to make many more✨

So with that being said here’s a shoutout to the lovely who I met online last year on my old page. We met after she was starting up a new account after hers was also disabled for no reason🤷🏼‍♀️since then we have became close friends and even met up in Newcastle for a fab girls weekend - I hope to have many more❤️

Exploring Luss🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Luss is a wee village that sits on the bank of Loch Lomond. It’s a lovely place to visit and has a lot to offer; from the quaint streets that became famous for being the main outdoor set for a Scottish TV Series “Take the High Road”, to its stunning Loch views and its cute wee Faerie Trail which would be great for kids🧚‍♂️

We only spent a couple hours here walking around, however, it would be a great place to stopover for exploring more of what Loch Lomond has to offer or tackling some of the many hills around.

A wee village that needs added to your travel list📝 @ Luss Loch Lomond

Prambanan Temple is another beautiful visit. It is the biggest and most complete remains of Java’s Hindu Culture. Reconstruction started in 1937 and still has a lot of work to do!

Each temple is beautifully carved - the attention to detail is impeccable😍and each one has a religious statue inside which is packed with culture.

We had these 2 lovely girls give us a tour to help them practice their English and they were amazing!🤩

This is a must do on your Java list, such a special experience; quaint and peaceful🥰 @ Prambanan Temple

Fun Fact: The Borobudur Temple is the largest Buddhist Temple in the world; it took 75 years to build and has 9 levels; 6 square and 3 circular. Sadly we did not get to the top as they were cleaning on our visit💔

This temple is breathtaking in every way possible. From the colourful gardens, intricate detail on the walls and the views from the higher platforms😍

When visiting this temple wear comfortable clothing that covers your shoulders and knees, if you do not have clothing that suits this you will be given a sarong to wear - please follow these out of respect. You’ll also want to wear comfortable and suitable footwear for climbing all the stairs, and bring water! If the steps don’t kill you then the heat will🥵

This is a visit you definitely do not want to miss🤩 @ Borobudur Temple

In weather like this it can be hard to get yourself motivated to do anything - I know because I fall into that🙇🏼‍♀️

We went from floods of rain to being snowed in and hitting around -10° which is insane🤯🥶Scottish weather don’t play around I can tell you that much😂 but it can be hard to fight the urge to cosy up and have lazy days😴

I’ll be honest, I have binged too many programmes recently (okokok I’m loving it) but it happens to us all but for me my biggest battle with this weather is my memories from last year...

This time last year I was backpacking South East Asia and I was exploring the Komodo Islands while staying in Flores, Indonesia🇮🇩. A year ago today I was out on a day of diving, I done 3 dives going down 12 metres (the deepest without an open waters licence) seeing the most unreal things😍

I saw several big beautiful Sea Turtles, a LionFish, so many beautiful corals and colourful fish. I also saw a Whitetip Reef Shark and a squadron of playful Manta Rays which was just mesmerising😍.

It seems like forever ago that we were allowed to do anything and it’s starting to feel like there isn’t an end but there will be soon, just keep swimming🐠

(I didn’t take my GoPro due to not having casing and it can only go as deep as 10metres so I don’t have footage, however I did get a video from my friend of us viewing the Whitetip Reef Shark and a Manta Ray)

Completed more training✅

Luxembourg is somewhere I’ve wanted to visit for a long time and after this training it’s definitely bumped it up in the top spots😍

It is the only Grand Duchy in the world with a lot of amazing history! You can view castles dating back to the 11th century🏰, head to the Mullerthal region “Luxembourg’s own little Switzerland”, visit Chemin de la Corniche “the most beautiful balcony in Europe”, explore the winding valleys, go on one of their “Best of Europe” hiking trails or attend one of their many events! There is so much to do🤩

This little country has been ranked as highly safe, relaxed and LGBT+ friendly.
In 2019 it was voted;
✨ safest city in the world
✨ 2nd less stressed city in the world
✨ 3rd place LGBT+ friendly
✨ 10th tourism; local values, heritage and quality of life

If Luxembourg isn’t already on your travel wish list - you better get adding it🥰

I’ve just completed a course on Austrian Cities which I LOVED😍

I went on a school trip skiing to Austria in 2014 (which seems like a lifetime ago😅)hearing about the school trips was definitely a big peak of interest of travel for me; surprisingly I was a bit gutted when I heard it was skiing in Austria because I had my heart set on it being Italy. I was 15; Italy or France were popular holiday destinations that everyone wanted to go to, not Austria - why would we go there🤷🏼‍♀️ this is what I kept questioning. Now I hate that I ever even thought that🙄.

I am so so glad that it was Austria as it peaked an interest in a country I probably wouldn’t have ever thought about. We stayed in Zillertal and when we got there and I was in complete awe😍I’d never been skiing, I’d never been up mountains, I’d never seen such beautiful green valleys, I hadn’t experienced such warm weather in deep snow. How can it be shorts and T-shirt weather but also be ankle deep in snow?? I couldn’t get over it and I still haven’t. Austria is still high on my bucket list to go back and explore🥰

This training was incredible - reminded me of how desperate I am to go back. From nature breaks skiing or hiking in the Mountains or city breaks for culture or culinary experiences, it’s got so much to offer🤩

Has anyone been to Austria?🇦🇹
