We’ve got our RV BACK! 🙌🏼💙🎉 What @alliance_rv expected to take 2 weeks only took a few days! 🎉 They were able to fix everything we needed tackled and check on a few other things that came up but overall, we didn’t have any big issues! A huge shoutout to Leslie for getting us scheduled to come in and Tristen and his team for managing all of our work! They rock!! Now the boys get back to adventuring and we can get settled back into our home! 🚌 To anyone looking for an RV, I have to tell you - it’s not always perfect. Social media paints this lifestyle to be pretty magical. And for the most part it is! BUT! Things will go wrong and break. Sean is such a handy man but we’ve traveled ALOT of miles with Valorie this year and she needed some much needed work done that called for the experts. Sean and I are so grateful that @alliance_rv is so good to their customers and always makes it a priority to take care of things and go the extra mile when customers need it most. 🥰 Safety is a HUGE priority for us and we’re so grateful @alliance_rv cares for us the way they do! Now we’re headed back to Florida where it’s a bit warmer and much sunnier than Northern Indiana! 😂 Until next time Indiana! 🌽 FLORIDA, here we come! ☀️

We’re packed up and headed to… INDIANA! 🌽 Indiana isn’t a spot RVers frequent this time of year, but we’ve got some warranty work that @alliance_rv is tackling on Valorie AND we get to spend Thanksgiving with my family! So, that’s a WIN. ❤️ I love that we can always count on our @alliance_rv family to take care of our home on wheels! 🚌 The temperatures may be hit or miss over the next few weeks (I mean, it’s Indiana in late November), but time with friends and family will be super special these next few weeks! 1,000 mile road trip, let’s go! 🏁

Do you ever have seasons that are just packed full? 🗓️ I’ll admit, I don’t love these kinds of seasons. I prefer a slower pace of life and margin in our days, but some seasons just happen to be WILD in our lives! And this season for us is WILD… but that’s okay! This season for us is packed with some of our favorites events we have planned all year. 😍 But no matter how full our calendar is, having these two cuties makes life so much sweeter. RVing takes us to some amazing places, but not all of those places are pet-friendly. 🥺 �Sometimes we have to leave our pets back at the RV while we explore. Which is okay — they need their naps and quiet time. 😉 But if you know you’re going to be gone for an extended period of time (or even the whole day), you need to make sure your pets are taken care of — which includes monitoring and controlling the temperature in your RV (which we covered in a previous Reel). We personally don’t leave the boys longer than a 4-6 hour window and never for consecutive days in a row. They are our kids, so we really bend to their schedules and needs. If you’re planning to be gone from your RV and your pets for hours at a time consider: 🐾 Hiring a dog walker to come and walk your dog at lunch and spend some time with them 🐾 Asking a friendly, trustworthy neighbor who loves your pup to check on them at lunch or even if they’d like to puppy sit for the day 🐾 Sign your pup up for a day at a local doggie daycare (you will need to do some prep work for this including sending medical records and a social visit beforehand) 🐾 Let the campground or park office know you will be out and if there should be an emergency, how to contact you or an emergency contact for backup 🐾 Add a “Pet Inside” emergency sticker to your main RV doors We’ve seen some amazing places while living this RV lifestyle, but truthfully, we’ve also has to miss things we planned on doing or bring the boys along and modify our plans because we weren’t sure about how the RV would handle high temperatures or if we knew we’d be gone too long. Here’s why! 🚌 The modern design (Alliance knocks their RV designs out of the park in my opinion) 🚌 TWO patios (one for each puppy 😜) 🚌 Tons of interior and exterior storage 🚌 Natural light galore ☀️ 🚌 Dedicated office (I can even close the door to our garage if Sean is on a call and he doesn’t hear any noise I make in the kitchen! We’ve been cooking the boys’ food for about 2 months now. 👩🏻‍🍳 Want to know how it’s been going? 🤔 …AMAZING! 🙌🏼 Yes, it’s been hard work and it’s taken alot of time and dedication, but it’s been life changing for our family. The boys have more energy, their coats are whiter, and the amount of drool during meal time shows they’re pretty thrilled with eating REAL FOOD. 🤣🤣🤣 But the biggest improvement has been in Maverick. He had been developing a copper color in certain spots on his fur over the last 9+ months and we knew it was directly related to a food allergy. We trialed a few different options for kibble, but didn’t have much luck. I kid you not, after a few days, we noticed the copper coloring was going away and after 2 months, it’s fully gone! Sean and I are shocked and thrilled! Our only regret… we wish we would have started cooking for the boys this sooner. I believe this for every living being, but proper fuel (aka food) is the most important way to care for our bodies, prevent disease, and live the best lives we can. 🍎 I cannot encourage our community here enough to give cooking for their pups a try (with proper formulations!). It’s definitely a change and we’ve had to develop a new weekly routine, but the benefits outweigh any negatives. For those asking too, we’ve been using @justfoodfordogs DIY homemade food options + nutrient packs. #notsponsored We’ve really been enjoying trialing proteins and trying their recipes. Our plan once we try all their homemade options (and see which the boys like and react to best) is to do a specific formulation for each of them. What questions do you have about this?! One thing we have done since Nash was little was freeze Kongs filled with different foods! This helps keep the boys occupied and happy on days where we are really busy — and even on drive days! 🚌 Some of the foods we’ve used are: 🐾 Peanut butter (only peanuts, no added ingredients!) 🐾 Plain greek yogurt 🐾 Pumpkin 🐾 Cheese 🐾 Smashed bananas 🐾 Applesauce (only apples) 🐾 Pureed greens (spinach, green beans, etc.) 🐾 Mashed sweet potatoes There are so many options and combinations your pup will love! 😍 We hope this encourages you to try some new things to keep your pups occupied! Never before seen Mavy snuggles 🥰 It’s always crazy to me when people say “it’s just a dog.” To me, those people must have never felt the unconditional love of a dog. A love that changes your heart forever. ❤️ Before Nash and Maverick, my heart was forever changed when I met Sean and Beau. Beau was our Golden Retriever that went to be with Jesus in 2015. Beau forever changed my heart and showed me what unconditional love and loyalty really looked like. Beau showed me that no day is guaranteed and because of him, I’ll never take a day with our boys for granted, because I know every day is a gift. I hope everyone feels this kind of love in their life 🥰
