10 Lessons I learned from Beyoncé Friday Night at the Renaissance World Tour.
10 Lessons I learned from Beyoncé Friday Night at the Renaissance World Tour.
1. Call out to the Universe asking for support to see Beyoncé. Negotiate, accept, prepare and go forth in grace and gratitude.
Enjoy.
2. Share space and time with other like minded individuals, who have traveled from all over the world to gather and witness the beauty, talent and greatness of Beyoncé.
3. Remember that Beyoncé is loved by many people. Therefore, one must move accordingly, practicing being patient, be generous of spirit and kindness.
Allow everyone to express themselves wholeheartedly.
4. Beyoncé’s stage presence commands your full attention. It was evident that Beyoncé had strategically thought out every moment to create this Glorious, Intergalactic, Otherworldly atmosphere. A definitive yet palpable decision made by her and her team. The overall theme, lighting, sound, visuals, set design, costume, hair, makeup and musical selection created a celebratory mood. As I scan the stadium throughly, all I could see were people smiling and dancing openly and freely.
5. Beyoncé used this quote that said “Imagination is more important than knowledge.” That caught my attention because at my core I honestly believe it.
6. Beyoncé is a Revelation. The way she Glamorized, Elevated and Humanized the Black Gay Ball Room Community so that everyone watching could see the joy that the Dolls & The Children bring when they’re illuminating in their element. It was nothing short of a miracle.
7. Beyoncé is a master class in Elegance, work ethic and tenacity. She enveloped the entire stage. Beyoncé literally levitated above the audience at one point in the show. It was a vision to behold.
8. Beyoncé made me feel proud to be a Black Trans Femme Queen. I loved the way the babies carried on and played on that stage in Drag.
Also loved hearing TS Madison voice on Cozy and Kevin Aviance chanting CUNTY. Throughout the entire show the MC would repeat “THIS IS WHAT I WANNA SEE!” and the very last image projected on the jumbo screen was a photograph of her mother Tina and uncle Johnny.
9. Beyoncé never ceases to amaze me. I am always rooting for her. I want her to win at everything she does. I pray for her health, peace of mind, prosperity, happiness and family.
10. Beyoncé was in her Virgo’s Groove. Cozy and comfortable in her skin. Nothing could Break her Soul. America has a Problem, it’s Heated, Thique, & All up in your Mind. Pure/ Honey so Cuff It baby! Take in all that Energy. Or Move and sit your ass on the Plastic Sofa. Beyoncé is the true Alien Superstar!
Summer Renaissance Darling.
U go Church Girl.

Ralph’s Supermarket
Ralph’s Supermarket
There is nothing, absolutely nothing in your store that has more value than the life of DeVonnie J’Rae Johnson. DeVonnie was a Black Transgender Youth who was fatally shot and killed by a security guard with a loaded gun, hired by you, Ralph’s supermarket.
If there ever was a time when Black Lives Matter, it’s now!
As Black Trans folks we find ourselves in devastating conflicts with society and communities at large who are making every effort to erase our existence, all while we try our darnedest to navigate systems that were never designed with us in mind.
We are plenty aware that a host of unsavory situations with complicated circumstances happen at this store daily. Where was your management team to defuse the situation? Why did no one come to either individual’s defense. This could have been de-escalated and/ or prevented all together if someone in an authoritative position with some sensitivity training had stepped in. This occurrence felt like unconscious bias and fear at play. It sparked animosity and discord, which then led to the vicious, violent, and untimely death of a promising Black Trans Youth who had just celebrated their 27th birthday the day before.
Existing in this world as a Trans person often feels like a hurricane down graded in death to a tropical storm. These are dangerously uncharted waters with very little life support, especially when you’re black, low-income, homeless and trans with co-occurring disorders. These challenges are often in full effect and on display to strangers who are untrained and unqualified to assist you in an emergency. The combination is explosive, with dire consequences. The common denominator between storms and trans people is that we’re both viewed at times, and in this particular situation, as a temporary neutral event.
What’s not uncommon though is the disregard for human life, especially a life like that of DeVonnie Johnson.
We are gathering here today to shed light on the importance of honoring, supporting and protecting one another at all cost. I’m proud to say my colleagues and I were able to provide DeVonnie with comprehensive services and support. We did not fail her, we acted like a healing balm throughout their engagement with us. Bell Hooks said in her book All About Love: “Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation. Healing is an act of communion.” Rest in Paradise Beautiful Black Child of Love. Rest well with the Angels forever.
Travis Payne your love is king 👑 Happy Birthday Beautiful Soul. Thank u 4 the Moves, Music 🎵 Memories and Fun!

Queen Jazzmun Nichcala Crayton career spans decades in show business and advocacy for the Transgender community. She has appeared in over fifty television series and movies, with her most recent roles portraying Bobbie Jean Baker, a prominent Transgender Activist and religious leader in the ABC series “When We Rise", and playing Cindy Whitman, a wrongfully imprisoned woman of Trans experience on Fox's "Proven Innocent". As an activist, Jazzmun serves as the founder and coordinator of the Midnight Stroll, which brings awareness and sorely needed self-care supplies for street-based s*x workers in order to empower them to embrace comprehensive community resources such as HIV testing and treatment, housing services, substance abuse counseling, legal and victim advocacy, and medical services.
