In my opinion, standardized tests are made up of arbitrary standards that don’t test one’s real capabilities outside of a list of topics that are required to study. And..the time limits don’t help, they just stress you out even more. What do you think?

Pet peeves are normal and everyone has at least a few, some even have strange ones like a wet sink, chewing with an open mouth, or even blasting loud music from a car.
In my case, I find cutting in lines especially annoying. At times when queues are long (in traffic jams, rollercoasters, etc...) people can be very inconsiderate and selfish.
What is a pet peeve of yours?

In my opinion, therapy is not only for those who are unwell. What is therapeutic is subjective, and there is a range of therapeutic activities such as riding a bike, yoga, or even speaking to a mental health professional. At times, everyone needs a bit of extra help, and it’s okay to ask for it!

To me, change is good. When there is change in what you do, you feel refreshed trying something new.
Also, change in our emotions are typically consistent with the change in our environment. And when you change, it’s normally for the better.
But sometimes... I like the feeling of stability.

It frustrates me how some governments (for example Brazil) give permission to corporations to burn down trees for additional land to use. It also frustrates me how some wildfires get more media coverage than others, for example California wildfires are only growing. Wildfires all over the world affect each and every one of us, and they should NOT be ignored. What do you think?

Bullying is not exclusive to any age or gender. It is one of the ways an individual (the bully) can weaken another using traits the bully is insecure about. The bully puts others down to pull him/herself back up.As the quote from the literature states, whether it’s sticks and stones or hurtful words and phrases, the same pain center is activated in your brain. Therefore, there is no difference between physical and verbal bullying if the pain experienced is identical. What do you think?

I believe white lies, to some extent, don’t hurt. For example, if someone asks you whether or not their shoes are nice, it doesn’t hurt to say yes they are (though you think otherwise). Also, I believe that telling white lies to reconcile between people who have broken relationships could actually be helpful. What do you think?
And what was the last white lie YOU told?

I view Hope as an element of well-being, the force driving you forward, and a large component of your inner strength. Hope does not only heal you, but helps me remember why I started. What do you think?

To me, Su***de reflects a devastating end to an individual’s suffering. No one knew what the person was going through and now no one ever will. It happens without a warning and changes the lives of the community they were a part of. What do you think?
