CROWN CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL AT THE MOMENTARY IS BEING RESCHEDULED.

We were hoping the weather will let up but its cold and rain wont be stopping. We want everyone to be able to be comfortable, have fun and have a fair chance at competing.

Unfortunately, we cant do that with this weather.

We will look at rescheduling for the best day/location next weekend.

● Heading inside? Skateboards must be carried or left outside while you’re indoors. If roller skates/rollerblades are more your thing, please remove them before coming into the building.
● Stunts, tricks, and races are great—just not everywhere. They’re not allowed at the Momentary outside of the marked event space. For tricks, we recommend checking out nwaskateboarding.org/skateparks instead.

It got hot out but Russellville showed out to make this contest a memorable one.

Russellville Mayor Fred even came out and cheered on the competitors. This shows success in our mission of bridging the gap between skaters and city leaders through The Crown and connecting with local skate advocates.

Mayor Fred informed us of future plans for the park and thanked us for bringing the contest out to Russellville. Locals were happy as it was the first contest/skate event in a decade.

We'll definitely be going back to Russellville next year, until then keep skating and practicing your runs for then!

Groove Skate Shop moving to 412/Sunset!

The new Groove Skate Shop location just dropped!

The new shop will have a bigger and better space, more retail, park & education multi-use space, increased parking & signage and more!

Thank you to all the Northwest Arkansas skaters for your continued support. We couldn't have done any of this without you!

We will be at the current Downtown Emma Location until September 1st. Then we are moving to the main business strip on Sunset Ave/412!

The new space is large enough for a small park and education space, we will announce an input meeting for space design once we are moved. Keep an eye out for more updates and announcements. Big changes are coming!

The New Groove will be located by Pizza Hut at 1772 W. Sunset Ave Springdale, AR just 2 miles down the road from our current location!

WALKER PARK SKATEPARK EXPANSION

The newest version Walker Park Master Plan at Fayetteville has been released today with it showing proposed skatepark expansion connected to the Razorback Greenway! This will help propel the mission for NWA Skate Mecca connected via Razorback Greenway trails and improve accessibility to skateparks via trail. .are.trailblazers
