A favorite Lion PR tradition has once again come and gone. Tonight we were PRoud to celebrate our soon-to-be December graduates with dinner at Fiesta Mexicana in Seven Points. PR students were joined by Journalism and Sports Management majors at Wicks Family Field at Joe Davis Stadium to learn about potential career opportunities in the sports industry. Big thanks to PR alumna Laurel Butz and her coworkers for showing us a wonderful time.

This group enjoyed learning about the three Bs of personal branding: Brand, Build, and Brag. We are so proud of Aubree for receiving “Student of the Year” at PRCA Splashdown Conference in Huntsville.

Have you joined Lion PR yet? To be elligible for membership you must be a PR major, PR minor, or have taken or be currently enrolled in the Fundamentals of PR course (COM 230). Lion PR is the official student public relations organization at the University of North Alabama. In addition to monthly on-campus meetings, Lion PR members attend monthly NAPRCA meetings in Huntsville where they network with professionals for internship and job opportunities. Students also attend the annual PRCA conference held each spring at rotating locations around the state.
