🎉 Having been open for business on Weidekampsgade 14 in Copenhagen since July 15, welcoming colleagues on site as they gradually returned from summer vacation, we had the official housewarming of our new headquarters on August 16. 🎉

We were joined by customers and partners, the press and other stakeholders for a festive official inauguration of NNIT Group's new headquarters in central Copenhagen.

Guests were initially welcomed by Pär Fors who

He was followed on stage by CEO of Novo Nordisk Fonden Mads Krogsgaard Thomsen who generously shared anecdotes of NNIT's beginnings and milestone achievements over our 30-year life span: From integral part of Novo Nordisk to independent and publicly registered IT consultancy.

Finally, CEO Brian Mikkelsen of Dansk Erhverv joined us to congratulate us on our splendid new headquarters while outlining the massive development and importance of IT in modern business and society. And how NNIT's specific focus on life sciences is the marriage of two industries that are absolutely necessary and continuously make a big difference in many lives.

The official reception was followed by an informal get-together allowing colleagues to celebrate their new Work, Play and Meet base at Islands Brygge.

A lot of employees in Denmark are enjoying their summer holidays these weeks but we still welcomed 200 employees on Monday for their first day working from our new Headquarters at Islands Brygge in downtown Copenhagen.

The atmosphere in our new office is great with much better possibilities for good collaboration across teams and work styles, and while we are still working on a few final touches with the interior, we are must enjoying the roof terraces and the vibrant surrounding area of Islands Brygge 😊

And we look forward to the official Housewarming with guest and partners too later in August after the summer holidays ✨

På et år har 1300 hold været igennem et Coding Class forløb med fokus på programmering, innovation og kreativitet.

Vi har set mange gange før hvor talentfulde børnene er og hvor dygtige de er til at samarbejde og tænke ud af boksen. Alt sammen gode kundskaber til en fremtidig karriere i IT branchen 😊

During June we have moved to new offices in both Prague, Czech Republic and in Basel, Switzerland and the official housewarming receptions were full of joy and new energy. We want to give our employees the best possibilities to work in an inviting and connected office space and look forward to also welcome our customers and partners in these new locations.

On June 1, NNIT in Czech Republic relocated to the Na Knizeci Office situated on the left bank of the Vltava River in Smíchov City, Prague.

The grand opening reception was held on June 19, welcoming employees, and representatives from the European management team as well as a few special guests, including the Danish ambassador Søren Kelstrup who gave an inspiring speech.

“After a decade in this beautiful city at the heart of Europe, NNIT has found a new home. This space will empower our employees to deliver even greater value to our customers efficiently and comfortably. Additionally, it will serve as a central hub, bringing together employees from various regions,” says Danijel Marjanovic, General Manager, NNIT Czech Republic.

🌍 Today is United Nations World Environment Day 🌍

Coding can be learned by everyone - even a 6. grader 😊

Just before Easter we had the absolute joy of welcoming another class of 6. graders to the NNIT Headquarters in Copenhagen.

The class from Heibergskolen had over the span of 5 weeks learned basic coding skills using CoSpaces Edu and AI, as well as worked with ideation and presentation skills on a case for us where we asked them “Help us have better and more fun breaks at the office”.

Their natural ability to work together resulted in a series of creative solutions all focused on bringing more play and togetherness into our days at the office. Some solutions were purely digital and game based – others suggested we took a break from screens and instead worked out - to generate energy for all the coffee machines 🚴‍♀️☕

From our side the kids met two of our Graduates Mette and Oliver and learned a bit more about their way into the IT business and we hope to have inspired more bright young minds to one day chose a career in IT.

Initiatives like Coding Class help spark youth’s interest in technology and IT and as always we thank Coding Class for the great collaboration.

As consultants, we make it our business to stay sharp and continuously gain new knowledge, so we can advise and inspire our customers.

Recently, Kasper Kronmann Nielsen and Mathias Grundahl joined the Danish delegation (from Dansk Industri, DigitalLead and Udenrigsministeriet) at the Mobile World Congres to learn about and contribute to the future of connectivity.

Unsurprisingly, was the talk of the event as the broad consensus is that further utilization of AI is the key driver of future growth and innovation.

“We return super inspired with knowledge of new possibilities and a great many ideas that we can now start to present to our customers. It’s a great pleasure and privilege to participate in events like this, and it is absolutely essential for us to keep updated on the latest trends, so we can continue to add value to our customers’ digitalization journeys,” says Kasper Kronmann Nielsen.

More than 400 talented and ambitious young people were nominated for this year's published by the Danish broadsheet newspaper Berlingske.

Only 100 talents were ultimately selected for this year’s list, and Marina Prodan is one of them.

Marina Prodan’s story is quite extraordinary: At age 19, she arrived alone in Denmark from Romania to study business administration at Copenhagen Business School... Today, she is the director of NNIT’s globally leading consulting unit in Europe.

🎉 Congratulations Marina Prodan on being selected as one of Berlingske's for 2024 🎉

Marina Prodan was selected from more than 400 talented and ambitious young people (under 36 years of age) nominated for this year's Talent 100.

It was Vice President Niels Buch Leander who nominated Marina for Talent 100, and he highlights the following about Marina's impressive career and achievements:

"Marina has been instrumental in doubling the revenue generated from a major global customer whose products are used in cancer treatment. Our customers give Marina top ratings and always want to continue the good work with her. In addition, she is a modern and empathic leader who serves as a role model, not least for our female consultants. She is respected all around and has a great ability to talk to people, which she takes the time to do."

“I feel beyond proud and happy. To me, being on this year’s Talent 100 list is the culmination of my 14-year journey in Denmark so far, from making ends meet while in school and learning Danish to really making my mark at NNIT. I am immensely grateful that almost eight years ago, a wonderful hiring manager at NNIT took a chance on me and helped pave the way for where I am today, even though back then my business Danish wasn’t perfect, and I still had very limited work experience.”

Today, we celebrate International Women's Day - and of course also the women at NNIT 💪

For us, increasing diversity is not only about creating a more balanced gender distribution, but we find it crucial to focus on this aspect, as the IT industry, historically, has had a very unbalanced gender distribution.

In 2023, we were pleased to report that we reached a great milestone, surpassing our target, with an overall gender split of 66% men and 34% women (against 70/30 in 2022).

In 2024, we will continue to work towards a more equal gender representation, always looking for qualified female candidates when filling leadership positions and actively promoting women in both our internal and external communication.

NNIT will move to new HQ during the summer of 2024 🏢

NNIT’s headquarters will be relocating from Oestmarken 3A in Soeborg to Weidekampsgade 14 in downtown Copenhagen to become better connected to customers and partners and provide employees with a more inviting and open office environment.

The move to a new headquarters is a logical step on NNIT’s strategic journey to becoming the best possible digitalization partner for our customers – and at the same time becoming employer of choice.

On Saturday, February 3, 2024 we donated 30.000 DKK to Danmarks Indsamling. This year, the money goes to vulnerable children around the world who is affected by the global food crisis.

Danmarks Indsamling is a big charity show that serves to collect donations to Denmark’s 12 largest humanitarian organizations, all working to help the world’s poorest who are the most affected by the world’s many crises.

This year there is 12 targeted development projects in 9 countries which will ensure that children get food and clean drinking water and get medical and crisis assistance to name a few.

​​​​​​​NNIT decided to contribute with an amount of 30.000 DKK and overall, the show raised 102.130.401 DKK from both companies and private citizens.
