Working while resting! We'll miss you all during what would have been Downtown Days here in Lee's Summit but God is so good! Since the cancellation happened, I'm able to rest and draw! We're looking forward to next year and if you'd like to see more of my sketches (aaaaand make fun of them with me because it's easy to tell when I had lost interest and moved on lol) head on over to Master's Hand Services . Downtown Lee's Summit is hosting its annual Downtown Days Festival, Friday, June 7-9 What better way to celebrate the end of a snow day filled school year?

The Burnt District Festival is happening soon! On October 7th there will be a district-wide Student Art Show from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The show will be in the Chamber of Commerce building.

We would LOVE for everyone to come support our students by visiting the show on that day. If you are also able to volunteer some time to "man" the show (Welcome guests as they enter), please let one of the art teachers know! Our e-mails can be found on the district webpage.

Hey guys! So thankful for the folks in Harrisonville preparing for the annual Burnt District Festival! We're all signed up and excited to come back for another year of facepainting on the historic city square!

Downtown Days is here! Come visit us for amazing facepainting and beautiful artwork. We are here today until 10, Saturday 10 to 10, and Sunday 11 to 4.

Downtown Days this weekend!! Our booth will be located on Third Street by Neighborhood cafe like last year! *The big change is the carnival which will now be located over on the WEST side of the tracks (like it is at LS Oktoberfest). It's still early in the week, but thunderstorms are predicted Friday- if that's still the case, we'll hold off on loading up artwork until Saturday and Sunday and the weather is going to be BEAUTIFUL (God willing!!). SO: facepainting Friday, Saturday and Sunday and artwork may wait until the Saturday. Hope to see you there!!
