Hindi itinanggi ng aktres na si Nadine Samonte ang pagdaramdam matapos mawala sa listahan ng attendees sa ginanap na kamakailan.

Sa panayam sa beteranong showbiz reporter at host na si Ogie Diaz, inamin ni Nadine na hindi na napigilan pa ng kanyang team na maglabas ng sama ng loob sa social media dahil labis ang paghahandang ginawa nila para sa event simula pa noong nakaraang taon.

“Hindi ko kasi mapigilan ang team ko na mag-post sila at maglabas ng sama ng loob. Siyempre, nagpagod at naghirap kaming gawin ang shoot, pagandahin ako for almost a year of preparation tapos ‘yon lang ang nangyari. Paglabas ko sa event, hindi ko natapos ang program. I was so frustrated and so down and lost,” aniya.

“I wasn’t really expecting na maitrato ako as VIP but I was just wishing na maitrato fairly,” dagdag pa ng aktres.

Nanlumo rin daw si Nadine dahil umabot sa puntong nilalapitan na siya ng kanyang mga kasamahan sa industriya.

“I feel so kawawa na everybody was going sa akin na, ‘Nadine, are you okay?’ I prepared for this since last year. Lahat ng efforts binigay ko talaga. ‘Yong team ko, they were so excited also,” wika niya.

Gayunman, sa huli ay nilinaw ni Nadine na wala siyang sama ng loob sa GMA.

“Thank you to GMA and Sparkle for reaching out to me. It truly meant so much. Uulitin ko, never po naging masama ang loob ko sa network at lagi ko nga sinasabi na hindi magkakaroon ng isang Nadine Samonte kung hindi dahil sa GMA and I will forever be grateful for that,” saad ng aktres sa isang Facebook post. NCR UNDER STATE OF CALAMITY

The National Capital Region (NCR) has been placed under a "State of Calamity" amid the massive flooding caused by the southwest monsoon (Habagat) and .

The declaration was made by the Metro Manila Council following a meeting presided by Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benhur Abalos.

“There is a motion to declare Metro Manila in state of calamity by Mayor Francis Zamora and Chairman Don, seconded by Mayor Lani Cayetano, the motion is hereby approved. Metro Manila is now in a state of calamity,” the DILG chief announced.

Inanunsyo ni Pangulong Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. sa kanyang ikatlong State of the Nation Address (SONA) ngayong hapon ang pagba-ban ng Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO) sa buong bansa.

Ayon sa Pangulo, epektibo ang nasabing ban simula mismo sa araw na ito.

“Effective today, all POGOs are banned,” aniya.

Iniutos naman ng Pangulo sa Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation ang tuluyang pagkawala ng mga POGO sa bansa bago matapos ang taon.

“I hereby instruct PAGCOR to wind down and seize the operations of POGOs by the end of the year,” wika nito.

Mandato rin ng Presidente na mabigyan ng bagong trabaho ang mga maaapektuhan na mga manggagawa sa pagkawala ng POGO sa tulong naman ng Department of Labor and Employments at economic managers.

A leaf artist named WIL ART made a touching tribute to honor the memory of Mangayon, the young Philippine Eagle who died due to “severe blood loss” after being wounded.

In a statement posted by the Philippine Eagle Foundation, it was revealed the eagle was hit by an improvised “jolen” or marble gūn that was “fired while the eagle was perched”.

A loving father asked a bakeshop in Legazpi City for a ₱100 cake—all he can afford at that moment—so he can surprise his son on his graduation day.

Moved, the owner of the bakeshop, Lazy Baker Cupcakerie, gave him a cake worth ₱1400 to celebrate such milestones with him.

Despite being deaf and mute, the father expressed his gratitude through a note and offered a way to repay the owner's kindness, “Madam, ‘pag may gusto ka po ipa-work or ipalinis dito, ako na lang po. Makabawi man lang po ako.”
