Hi friends ! If you saw my stories last night you know that I decided to participate in the Relax and Craft Challenge. It’s pretty simple since March is Craft Month every day you take 30 minutes to craft ! I’m a week late but better late than never and I decided to start the challenge with one book from Page Street. You voted in my stories and Botanical Garden by Anna Oszvald was my crafty date for the evening. Let me talk to you about this book.
The premise of this book is sketching made easy because you only have to trace. There’s beautiful botanical drawings in light grey on the pages and you need to trace over with a pen. That’s it but it’s also more than that. I loved that the book’s projects are more detailed as you go and some techniques are gradually added in like shading. I chose the peony , it did took me around 30 minutes to do the whole page. I’ll share a reel a little later of me tracing these beautiful flowers. It was extremely relaxing and I will definitely do other pages from this book!

My father gifted me a burgundy carnation plant that inspired me immediately to paint some burgundy flowers ♥️
Mixing it with light purples and blues makes it so special in this wreath. Do you like this combo?
