Bateleur Eagle
Wildlife Fact 🐾The name bateleur (French: “tumbler”) comes from the birds’ distinctive aerial acrobatics.
One of the most familiar birds of the African skies, it is almost constantly on the wing. Often it turns somersaults in the air, claps its wings loudly, utters cawing or barking cries, and dives with a screaming sound.
Photo Tip 🐾 Negative space is the empty space around and between the subject(s) in a composition that does not draw a viewer’s attention. This is space that is intentionally left devoid of “interestingness” in which the eye is not able to hold onto a subject or an element.
This “empty” space both creates increased attention on the main subject as well as allows the viewer’s eyes to wander around the frame, providing calmness rather than busyness.

Wildlife Inspiration 🐾
India's National parks are providing green corridors so that wildlife can move between areas, reducing vehicles and making larger buffer zones without human activity inside the parks.
The lodges we stayed in were all eco friendly with excellent standards, where nothing was too much trouble including making me cheese on toast!
They also provided work for the local community.
We saw over 30 tigers on all of our 11 game drives with our
Wildlife-Dreams Indian Wildlife safari.

Only 2 photographers per Gypsy vehicle on our safari giving plenty of room for movement and watching, this allowed me to capture the image of this tiger cub drinking.
