This is my favourite handspun yarn! I used a batt carded by my daughter. She is the best in blending... I love the texture, the rich colours and the softness of this little masterpiece. Spun into a 2 ply sportweight yarn that I used instantanly to knit an Old Salt hat for her.

As I wrote in my latest blog post, I began the year by knitting something for myself. As a first project, I chose Arika Cowl by Jane Richmond Designs. I love her designs, they are always a pleasure to knit. And I love too much Quince & Co. , shown in Barolo: pure joy in a skein!

Sweater rescue Step 1: cut up!⠀
I came across this old sweater doing my spring cleaning and I had the idea to cut up all the yoke portion and save the sleeves and part of the body to do my own version of ' for HOMS KAL.⠀
The yarn is Merino DK in Zimtapfel, the cutest shade of red that I ever seen!⠀
