First, I would like to thank everyone that has taken the time to read this 🦋 I’d like to thank everyone that has reached out with love, support and prayers towards my family 🥺🙏🏽
This is my beautiful grandma Addys Marti.
Addys was such a wonderful soul to be around. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with stage 4 liver and pancreas cancer shortly after the passing of our cousin Derek Betancourt. Addys was absolutely such a beautiful, gold hearted woman. She was a mother, a sister, an aunt, a grandma, a friend, a lover, a neighbor that would cook for the whole damn neighborhood lol. Our grandma accepted EVERYONE with open arms, if you ever stepped foot in her house, you were welcomed with a hug and a huge plate of food. Mima was everyone’s rock, when you needed someone the most, she was the one you could count on. I know most people reading this can think back to a moment when Mima was there when they needed her the most, everyone can recall how good her food was, everyone can recall her loud laugh and beautiful big smile, everyone can recall her jokes and her dancing especially when she was drunk lol. Mima is that crazy grandma that was always down to party and just have a good time with family. She showed nothing but LOVE. And we all love her so much.
Without her I wouldn’t be here today. Without her, my life would be completely different. Mima had guts. She risked her life to bring my mother and aunt to the states from Cuba so she could give the next generation of our family a better life. All she ever wanted was the best for us. And for that, I can never repay her.
I know times are extremely hard at this time because of the pandemic but I beg anyone, if you can help/share/repost/donate anything anything helps. 🙏🏽😇
