WomanKind, LLC
Founded 2009. Retired 2019. Still here supporting womyn with the occasional post. Not in Why, AZ, jus
WomanKind, LLC , 2009-2019 was a Flagstaff, AZ-based company focusing on wellness and healing. Womankind coordinated compassionate practitioners, providing Reiki to patients in the Cancer Center of Northern Arizona's Flagstaff campus' program underwritten by the Foundation for FMC. This page is mostly archival, but since well behaved women rarely make history, I’ll share some womyn making herstory here from time to time.
Worth bringing this page out of retirement for!
I am beyond thrilled and proud to share my feature in the new book, “The Life-Changing Power of Self-Love!” Who wants to help me celebrate? 🤩
The chapter I contributed to this group effort, “You Are Not Broken: Finding Love in the Pain Points,” truly was a labor of love. I get into some of the most vulnerable parts of my story, and I’ll let this snippet of the chapter show you why:
“We are all storytelling beings. Stories are how we make sense of and understand the world. In this chapter I offer you a glimpse into my chronic pain story and the power of ceremony to nurture self-love, lifting us up even when we feel gutted and hopeless.
I’ll share some thoughts about pain vs. suffering, giving voice to our invisible pain, and honoring mystery. Finally, I offer a self-love ceremonial practice for your chronic pain journey.
As with most journeys, there are lessons here related to many human experiences, so please take what resonates and grow.”
If you want to get a powerful look into how ceremony can shift your reality, even in the face of intense pain, I hope you’ll pick up a copy! Click on the link below to sign up for my email list and be notified how to get a copy as soon as it's out!

Honor your grief. It is part of your humanity.
In 2012 I knew it was time to stop hating my body but it took another 7 years unlearning diet culture before I was finally able to love my body and allow her to eat and rest and be loved in her soft truth.
This photo on the left is me in 2016 when I had been photographing in the name of body positivity for four years. I stumbled across this photo last night and was shocked. I had so many photos like this in my phone that I had forgotten about that I took in secret and didn’t tell anyone about except my partner at the time because I wanted to prove to him that I was thin enough and lovable enough in my thinness because he told me that he wasn’t attracted to bigger women (my 2nd partner to do this, not their fault AT ALL, he’s allowed to have his preference, but that preference fed my self loathing like fuel to a fire).
I was so so so sad in that photo on the left. I had started my friendship rebuilding with my body, but I still was deeply entrenched in disordered eating and disordered exercise and never felt beautiful enough for my partner and the world. I thought I was eating and exercising in the name of health but now I know I was exercising and eating in the name of diet culture and to be as thin as possible. I felt like a fraud with my work. I thought I was intuitive eating back then!
But it took me another four years before I truly rebuilt my relationship with food and understood intuitive eating. It took me another 4 years to stop moving my body as a punishment and to gain the approval of the outside. Now I move my body for the sacred ritual of it, for the feeling of love on the inside.
Reclaiming our bodies as our friend and as our source of power can be a long winding journey, my loves. The most important thing is that we are free from blaming ourselves that it’s such a hard journey. Unlearning diet culture is really really really tricky and can feel impossible. I have so much self compassion for that photo on the left, she thought she was intuitive eating and taking care of herself. I wasn’t a fraud because I still was entrenched in unlearning diet culture, I was walking towards the path of reclaiming my relationship with my body and that was enough then. In 2016 I had so much still to learn and unlearn. Even today, I know I still have more to learn because that’s being human. I don’t blame myself for having taken so long to get where I am today loving this body, I now see it as a sacred practice of reclaiming our radical self love from the clutches of diet culture.
Wherever you are in your journey my loves, is divine. Be kind to yourself. Keep walking towards the light that feels most loving, keep practicing what makes you feel good. Every day is another opportunity. Remain forever curious about your innate ancient intelligence and truth!
If you desire a guide, that would be me, on your own body love journey, I may have an offering that can help you remember your own ancient intelligence and relationship with your beautiful body: https://www.jadebeall.com/p/embrace-your-body-co

I had the honor and privilege to share stories with from a very diverse group of women all over the world. It only took me 10 years to complete and publish my story.
My chapter is titled: " : Reality Is Stranger Than Fiction" is my story of what it's like to leave a relationship only to have the abuse escalate AFTER I left spending the next 16 years vying for my freedom from abuse.
I share my journey, struggles and recovery that led to where I am today and the work I do today professionally as a result. I also offer tips on how bystanders can support survivors of abuse and it may not be what you think.
This is one of 2 books scheduled for release in 2022. My other FIRST solo book on the secrets to healing: an invitation to healing the roots to chronic illness and trauma through the Japanese Reiki Gokai will come out later this year.

This page isn’t active often, as I have retired from working in alternative wellness and am on to new life lessons.
But sometimes, something comes along that is so worth sharing to the remaining fans out there, and this is one of them.
I’ll try to use this site more for this purpose. There’s a lot of wonderful, healing, empowering resources that come across my path. I’ve been remiss in not sharing with y’all.
I’ll do better.
Here’s to 2022!
My story is finally being published as a chapter in a collaborative book "FEISTY: Dangerously Amazing Women, Finding Their Voices and Making an Impact"
My chapter is titled: " : Reality Is Stranger Than Fiction"
I shared my story of what it's like to leave a relationship only to have the abuse escalate AFTER I left spending the next 16 years vying for my freedom from abuse.
I share how I was WITHOUT being charged or convicted of any crime while also being DENIED my right to a lawyer to represent me.
I share my journey, struggles and recovery that led to where I am today and the work I do today professionally as a result.
I'm not gonna lie or sugarcoat this.
I am scared.
I am frightened.
I am anxious
BECAUSE my fears of retaliation are REAL... cuz they happened before.
As of last week, the escalation of using the courts to harass, control and abuse with impunity have once again escalated making me wonder if I will ever be free.
This chapter is my plea for justice and from abuse.

Nikki Anam Cara's Reiki story ~
"Reiki has been a powerful instrument of gratitude, opening and change for me as student, practitioner and recipient.
My ongoing Reiki journey began with an introduction to the foundation of Usui Reiki to the modalities taught by the International Center for Reiki Training. I was attuned as a Karuna® Reiki Shinpiden by William Lee Rand, and Usui-Tibetan Shinpiden by William, Laurelle Gaia and Michael Baird.
More recently, the spiral has brought me to teachings from the origins of Reiki and the study of Jikiden Reiki levels Shoden and Okuden (beginner and second level), with attunement by Frank Arjava Petter."
