“McDonough has assembled a cast that sings Finn's score with full-throated beauty. Sasha Andreev shines as a Marvin sabotaged by his own tendency to be self-satisfied and delivers a gut-wrenching "What More Can I Say?," as he seems for the first time to discover that tenderness is an aspect of love.” - TalkinBroadway.com

"Sasha Andreev delivers a spectacular performance as Marvin. Between his rage and frustration with his ex-wife’s choice to date his therapist and his admiration for the new man in his life, Andreev delivers a performance that toes the line between holding it all together and letting it all fall apart, in expert fashion." - BroadwayWorld

Star Tribune says: Guthrie Theater's "Into the Woods" is studded with world-class talent. Director Sarna Lapine's fine staging delineates the individual threads of a braided narrative, then brings them back together in a thrilling whole. John Yi and Sasha Andreev excel as the two Princes, with a gorgeously entertaining duet on "Agony." Andreev also is ominously thrilling as the Wolf on "Hello, Little Girl."
INTO THE WOODS runs through August 13!
Review: Guthrie takes a fantastic trip 'Into the Woods' The musical enchants with its performances, stage design and score.
Pioneer Press says: “You’re unlikely to find a more expertly executed production of [Into the Woods] than the one currently gracing the Guthrie Theater’s thrust stage… While the music may not stick in your head long after the final curtain, each actor in the Guthrie’s cast of 16 delivers a performance that may.”
Musical theater review: Guthrie spins some spirited Sondheim with ‘Into the Woods’ “Into the Woods” weaves together a picnic basket full of the Grimms’ fairy tales and imagines what would happen if their characters’ paths converged in a deep forest.

Star Tribune notes that "Jesse [James] is perhaps the most accomplished show yet by the team of Poling, Hatcher and Elhai," and highlights that “Two Unlucky Stiffs” - played with “deadpan wit” by Jen Burleigh-Bentz and Sasha Andreev - “gets the biggest applause” despite having been on the chopping block during the writing process. Phew! Glad it survived (though our characters Bill Chadwell and Clell Miller certainly didn’t.)

First time meal at .mpls to mark 18 years together. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, from the food to the service to the ambiance. Thanks for taking such good care of us .mpls
Our meal included the basil wings, the superb Sakoo (mushroom-filled dumplings), rainbow rice, bucatini Talay (a Laotian take on Italian noodles), and chicken red curry. No room for dessert. But the drinks hit the spot all around.

There is magic in this cup. With every sip I felt as if I had fresh ripe strawberries in my mouth. Sweetened entirely by strawberries, it’s so balanced and flavorful you’ll want another. And if you’ve got a coupon, it’s a BOGO. (And it’s only $4)

knows flavor and delivers on a satisfying (albeit small for the $$) hand roll. The paratha wrap was moist with a bit of crustiness, and the chicken was delish. The sauce, however, is what makes the dish. Wish there were two, like in their picture, cause I’d eat these every day.
