Rick "Capone" Holt AKA Hollywood.
Last weekend I rode with my Brother. Today he took his last Ride.
We all know that when we choose to ride we choose to accept the inherent risk that goes along with it. We gear up, We train, We practice, We meditate, We study, We prey at the alter of chrome and steel. All this we do so that we may be deemed worthy to touch the face of God for a moment as mortal men. We hold to a code that was never written as if it were carved in stone by God himself. We seek a righteous path outside the common views of polite society in the hopes that when we do take the last ride we will be welcomed by our brothers who have gone before us.
In spite of all this and more we morn the loss of one of our own united as one world wide. When a young man falls we lament for all of the tomorrows lost. When a brother is taken from us by a fool in a cage we rage united in one voice of thunder to shake the very depths of Hell.
Today a King has fallen. Struck down in his youth by a fool from behind assassinated by ignorance. A father has lost a son. A bride has lost her betrothed. A Club has lost a patriarch. I have lost a friend. We have lost a brother.
God Speed my friend. May the sun always be on your face. May the wind always be to your back. May the road rise up to meet you. When we meet again may you call me brother.
RIP Rick Pres. Unwanted LEMC. Original

The Patriarch. Yesterday Charles Johnson left us. My Grandfather. Papa. When I was little Papa carried a magic pocket watch that Papa would wave his hand across and it would open and play a tune. This watch would prove to be the single greatest lesson I ever learned. I eventually learned, when I had a watch of my own, many years later that it was a trick. Papa never told me how the trick was done, Papa left me to figure it out on my own. Every question I ever asked, Papa refused to answer, instead Papa would point me in the right direction to find the answer. When I was small Papa taught me about tools and how to use them. Papa told me tools were priceless and if you know how to use them you will always be able to find work. The secret was in Papas watch. Not the watch it self, but the trick. The secret was whatever you see, break it down. Start with what you know and break it down. Look at the parts and see how they relate to each other. Understand function and purpose. Here is where the trick comes in. You also must understand the limitations of what others see. Skin heals, wood doesn't. If you don't finish it nobody will. If you are not willing to stand up, no matter the cost, than don't expect anything to change. At the end of the day what you have given should be more than you have taken, but do not let others take advantage of you.
Everything people respect in me can be traced to three people, and this is the Patriarch. ....... Papa.
FYI: Papa would hate this, but he taught me to do it anyway.
Before you go fu***ng up a perfectly good motorcycle bring your bike to me and play with this.

Old shop advert.
This is Joe. We call him "No Show". We used to call him "Beast". Joe waited too long to get his bike to the mechanic and missed the big run. Don't be like Joe. Legendary American Vendetta NYFC
Should be fun.
Indian Raptor Coming In 2020? Is a new Indian water-cooled bagger on its way? Patent filings seem to suggest so.
