On this day in 2020 Sami Zayn won the Intercontinental Title for a second time!

Or if you ask Zayn he had never lost the title. In storyline he was stripped of the title in May after not defending it during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the period between Zayn being stripped of the belt and regaining it AJ Styles had won a tournament to become the champ. AJ then lost the belt to Jeff Hardy.

Zayn's win came in a triple threat ladder match with Styles and Hardy at the Clash of Champions.
