I wrote this song right after the first Hans Zimmer Live tour in 2017 before having my first child, Ezra. It is about learning to quiet my inner dialogue and trust myself. (Which will be a life-long process)🌤❤️
Self deprecating thoughts are unnecessary and limit our potential. The second we learn how to get out of our own way, we can open ourselves to other people's perspectives in our personal lives.. and globally. 🗣🌎
The second message, BE AUTHENTIC. The tour has provided perspective for me. Stepping outside my reality always teaches me what truly matters. Life is short. I implore you to tell people what they mean to you and stay aware of what you mean to others!
Florian is my friend from Berlin whom I met while playing gypsy jazz festivals around Europe. We randomly decided to shoot this on my day off from Hans Zimmer Live rehearsals. 5 days later, on Feb. 3, he borrowed a studio and tons of camera and lighting equipment from his friend Theisen (thank you Benny!) and we shot for 10 hours straight.

Sometimes you have moments that connect to past moments in your life, like pearls in a necklace. These flagged moments can be decades away from each other, making life seem like a fleeting dream. So surreal. It’s been 20 years since I’ve seen some of my family’s dearest friends here in Newquay, Cornwall, the Slater family. I love you and I cannot wait for the kids to surf together! 😉🏄🏻♀️thank you for a spiritually rejuvenating visit. ❤️
