Here, we will share information on the planned projects for the area including Road Closures, Cameras, Block Watch and how Fibre plays a part.

You'll get to meet most of the role-players as well as the contractors that will be working in your lovely area and have the opportunity to ask all your pressing questions.

We encourage you to get involved and join us on the evening as each of these projects will impact you along the way in the near future - we want you to know about the changes and of course, be a part of the change in your community.

Book a table at Bent Fork and stay for dinner after the meet-and-greet. Everyone who's visited has raving reviews and for good reason! These people serve food with soul. And as Kiklo is for the community, we couldn't think of a better venue to host the info session than with the new kids on the block.

So my Aunt and Uncle have started a new restaurant, located at what used to be the old Italian restaurant, Florentines... It's called The Bent Fork Country Kitchen & Craft Corner....

They offer simple rustic country style food, served in generous portions and made with love.

The first time I saw this space I fell in love with it.... ssooooo much space, gorgeous acres of quiet rustic veld surround this amazing location...
The actual restaurant is situated in this big beautiful old spacious hall, perfect for functions and events with high ceilings and lots of light.

They have added a crafters corner where you can leave the kids to paint on pottery, get busy with mosaics or deco-page decor items, while you sit and relax in the expansive gardens. Oh yes! And dogs are welcome!

What I love most is that there is no typical rush-rush Joburg mentality... you can take as much time as you need to just.... chill...

Open from Thursday to Sunday, pop in while you wait for the traffic to die down after work, or for an awesome Sunday brunch...
You'll definitely bump into either Helen on the floor or Keith who periodically comes out the kitchen to make sure all is ok...
