Quality Birds And Fetile Eggs

i got homeschooled today too ♡ our sweet neighbor miss joyce gave us eggs from her chickens after we picked flowers and i learned that the blue eggs are laid by cream legbar hens, speckled tan by welsummer, dark brown by french copper marans + the pink by silver laced wyandotte. nature is sweet 🥚♡

Added some hens to the flock. Got 2 Barred Rock and 2 Black Australops. Both heavy chickens with tolerance for cold, good egg laying (brown) and sweet personalities. They got about a month in the hutch before they're big enough to defend themselves from the original flock. So enjoy the peace while it lasts littles. The last two pictures are just google images of what they'll look like when they're grown. ❤

Best birthday present ever? Meet Lemon, Mango, and Mocha. I’m very happy to have buff orpingtons in our flock again and the cuckoo marans was an excellent surprise. They’re all very social and sweet.

Sweet surprise this morning…. our favorite hen hatched another clutch. This time, with no assistance, I didn’t select eggs, nor keep the other hens out of her box. She managed on her own, probably could have all these years.
