I'm on a mission to help 100,000 women scale their businesses to $100,000 or more per year.
Black women are the fastest growing group of entrepreneurs, and yet one of the most underfunded.
Let me give you some stats...
Black women owned businesses grew 67% between 2007 and 2012, outpacing the 27% growth rate for all women owned businesses, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
Black women own over 1.5 million businesses, creating over 42 billion dollars in sales. Which means on average, black women’s businesses are generating $28,000 in sales per year.
So imagine what would happen if black women’s businesses scaled to at least 100,000 in sales per year on average, and how that would transform lives and communities.
That would allow those same 1.5 million businesses to create 150 billion dollars in sales.
And that’s one of my missions.
One woman at a time.
One business at a time.
One community at a time.
