Vibes! This week has us inspired by hometowns, doing hard work, and all the amazing people that struggled so we could build on their legacy. All these 🙌 built a bridge so we could walk further and add our own hands. Cause none of us just fell out of a coconut tree.

Sometimes climate change seems daunting but we can each make a difference. If we are consistent about being more mindful in our consumption, on Earth Day, and every day, it adds up and makes a difference. You may already be doing these things, but we can do them even more:
-Eat sustainably grown food: insist on real food that is sustainably grown (without fertilizers and pesticides) since the less we dump into the soil the better. Organic is a great option since it is a way to certify the food you eat is grown to specific standards. At Pop Karma we use organic popcorn and sustainably grown, real food ingredients.
-Skip the car and get some exercise. Walk, bike or use public transportation.
-Consume less. Reduce, reuse or recycle (in that order). Social media and society often prompt us to want more things, but the less we want, the more mind space and money we have. Do you really need that purchase? Can you reuse something? If not, can you recycle it?
It’s spring, and we are doing another production run! In the meantime, we are inspired that everything is popping up (flowers) at the

Happy 2024! New year = new plans. And for some of us organizer geeks, that means a new planner. This year is my second year of the Hobonichi Techo Cousin (ignore that sentence if you’re not a planner nerd). It’s already January 2 and I’ve been a little reluctant to mess up my planner with ink. But what the heck, the year is here and time’s not waiting for anyone. So if you haven’t inked it up yet, go ahead, and if you have, keep planning! Time to create your best year yet! What do you use to stay focused?
We were proud to send a van full of Pop Karma this week to an amazing program we’ve been providing popcorn to since 2022 - Urban Warriors program. A holiday week for many of us, Urban Warriors continues to operate this week to provide support to at risk youth. A youth violence prevention program that matches veterans as role models to Chicago youth, we continue to be impressed by the work that is done here.
What’s at the bottom of your tree?
Thank you Veterans, today and every day
