In response to a selection of enquiries about an Open Track day at Smeatharpe BEFORE the Christmas period, consideration is being given to Saturday 16 December.

However, to go to the effort of staffing the event, ensuring medical cover, etc, there needs to be sufficient support for this to be worthwhile. Hence, drivers are invited to confirm an expression of interest in attending by notifying an Autospeed office, or simply leaving a comment below.

A final decision will be made, and communicated, by the end of Sunday 3 December.

Following a big overnight change in the weather forecast, Trackstar are reluctantly having to postpone today’s meeting featuring F1 Stock Cars, 2L Stock Cars and V8 Stock Cars to tomorrow (Sunday 22 October) at 1pm.

Storm Barbet has been battering the country over the past 24 hours. King’s Lynn had 24 hours of rain. However the forecast was for a clear day today and there would have been no problem getting the track ready.

The forecast has changed overnight to more rain throughout the day and at 8am the stadium had already suffered from a heavy shower.

Several important “A” roads which were hoped to have reopened also remain closed.

With a clear day forecast around the country tomorrow, the track team are confident about producing a decent racing surface and it is hoped travelling conditions will also be much better.

Our thanks go to Autospeed and the BSCDA with their assistance in moving this fixture.

Stock Cars Shootout Showdown - Saturday 21 October, 5pm

What a night we have lined up - there are 42 BriSCA F1 Stock Cars, 40 Saloon Stock Cars and 24 V8 Hotstox booked in to race.

BriSCA F1 Stock Car action returns to King’s Lynn for the last time of 2023, the big and brutal V8 Chevy monsters take to the Norfolk shale and the stage is set for another fast and frantic night from the Big League. There’s no where else like King’s Lynn for shale F1 action; big names, big cars and big grids will produce an unmissable night of high speed racing.

Also scheduled to appear are the always brilliant Saloon Stock Cars, they race in National Series Rd 4 and the Bumper Trophy - £2000 has been raised in sponsorship for the Bumper Trophy, with thanks to Kevin Wickham for co-ordinating. Also taking the track are the entertaining V8 HotStox racing for the Brian Jolly Memorial. There’s lots to look forward to; a night of pure, no-holds barred Stock Car action!
