Their clases on demand are a great way to practice different techniques that I have to take for my C&D courses. When practicing, is important to learn the right technique as it is to experience mistakes and how to correct or avoid them. This one has room for improvement for sure, the background was the most challenging 🧵🪡✂️.

A passport cover custom design for Nico's first trip... I think he liked it! 🤗 With this needlepoint design, I wanted to create a record of his first trip overseas to visit family, which would take him from the warm beaches of the Pacific 🏖 in Ecuador, to the cold mountains 🏔 north of Bogotá in Colombia. He will probably not remember about this adventure, but I sure will not forget the joy making the image appear stitch by stitch on the canvas, and the excitement of the whole family and specially the great-grandmothers waiting to meet him!⁣

Another design ready to ship 🚢 Our customer chose our "Daisies on Gingham" for a purse strap, customized with her initials and a swatch of the background 🌸We choose colors to paint our designs always with the stitchers in mind. Here, we used light and medium gray to clearly distinguish the form of the white flowers from the white background. The color scale painted in the canvas, shows the hues to use for threads.
