STUDENTS ARE THE 99%!!! A General Assembly is when a group of people practice direct democracy and come up with a consensus for the outcome of a decision.

We would like to broaden our General Assemblies to truly represent the University student body and to make the General Assembly diverse and inclusive, with as much students involved as possible. We strongly encourage students of all racial, gender, ethnic, political, religious and cultural backgrounds to come and be active in the General Assembly. It is important that all student groups are repre

"Migrant workers work 12+ hours a day, often for less than $20 a day. They lay tarps covered in pesticides that cause their skin to slough off. They die of internal bleeding, and cancers from these fields. Their babies, toddlers, and children play in these pesticide poisoned fields while their families pick. Not to mention we robbed their native lands for our own fields and manufacturing plants, which in result, destroyed their economy. They move so often for the pick that they fall behind in school, and never have an opportunity to excel. They come to America so they don't have to starve. Many don't realize how poor conditions are here, until it is too late.

Zulema here was asked if she had a dream and responded that she had none. She just wants to help her mother.

These children and their families feed America, and we do not give them access to Welfare or Medical."

On The Recent Fascist Shooting and The Contradiction of Bourgeois "Justice"

I will assume that all reading this are familiar with the harrowing event that took place in an African-American based church in South Carolina. The atrocious act was conducting by young white fascist. The murderer in question, who had been accepted into the community's with open arms, took nine lives. The event itself was tragic, it always is when the innocent lose their lives. The rabid dog who committed the act was an outspoken fascist. White supremacy had been the little snot's bread and butter for some time leading up to this event and was quite open about it, even producing his own personal fascist manifesto.

The horror this fascist committed, however, did not end with gun shots. The response of bourgeois society to this act is a horror in itself. First, let us address how the fascist barbarian was apprehended by the pigs (police). Unlike the thousand-some African-American,Latino, and brown people who have been killed by the pigs in the last year, the fascist lives. The pigs did not shoot at the killer like they have so many innocent. The fascist was es**rted out, peaceably, and even given the protection of a bullet-proof vest. The pigs kill unarmed, innocent black men and women all year round yet es**rt a rampant white supremacist shooter as peaceably as possible to jail. The police have killed so many innocent people of color, yet, protect the white supremacist as if a hero in need of a guard. Many other white mass shooters have received similar treatment by the police system and have generally, got off "lightly" in the court system compared to how many people are locked up in cells because they are guilty of being black.

The treatment of the this story in the "mainstream media" has been just as disgusting as the actions taken by the pigs. The media has been downplaying the political element to the story, that this fascist barbarian was not a fascist but had some type of mental issue that caused this, that this was out of his control. Although, it is certainly true that many a people have committed terrible acts due to mental illness, it is not the case in this instance. The fascist was outspokenly fascist and had his own manifesto. Instead of recognizing this, the media have tried to medicalize his wickedness. In doing so, the media does not just do a terrible job at reporting but, confuses the issue while ignoring an even bigger one. Fascism, racism, ultra-nationalism, have not only been on the rise in the United States for years now, but has become a de facto part of it's culture and civil practice. The media, controlled by the capitalists ignores this over and over again while, on the other hand, looks for reasons why so many innocent people of color are shot down. Mike Brown drank and listened to hip-hop, he obviously was a bad egg and deserved to be shot while this fascist just had a little problem and should be treated more like the victim than those he had slain.

The systemic hypocrisy is quite clear to anyone paying attention. The police are in open season when it comes to people of color, while, if you're white, no matter the act you most likely not be shot by the pigs. Jail cells are filled with to the brim with innocent people of color to meet the pigs arrest quotas, to meet the private prison systems occupancy quotas, and to fulfill the brutal aspirations of many of those who wear a pigs uniform. Segregation has become an unspoken part of life in the south again, if it ever went away in the first place. Fascists, in uniform and plain clothes raise millions of dollars in support of themselves, in support to get them off the hook for slaughtering the innocent, for targeting our brothers and sisters of color. The recent shooter's mother, at last was checked, had been given over $700,000 over kickstarter for her monster of a son's bail. Laws have changed, who sits in this chair or that chair has changed but, what has not, is the contradiction that is bourgeois justice.

It is scary living in these times, comrades. The ideals of fascism grow all over and become more and accepted. They sometimes go by different names, fascists these days rarely label themselves as such but, the content of their speech and actions are the same as they were in 1933. The capitalists only profit from this disunity and hatred. The capitalists cultivate feelings of racism and disdain among the populace against the populace itself. It keeps us separated, ignorant, and we, the working people, become a threat to one another rather than a threat to capitalists who keep us in chains, who promote the polices of private prison systems, of arrest quotas, of mankinds alienation to itself. We must stand stall and strong but, most importantly, we must stand! If we do not get rid of this racist, exploiting, imperialist bourgeois system it will only further degenerate; fascism will spread more and more and there will only be an increase of bodies in the wake. The bourgeois system is a corrupt contradiction on every level, and it leads to, time and time again, the blood of the innocent being spilled in the name of profit. The war the capitalists have waging on people of color, on the poor, on the workers, of the people around the world has been one sided in this country for a very long time. The time to unite is now, the time to fight against bourgeois society and it's atrocities is now, the time to stand up is now!

Below you will not find a picture of the fascist rabid dog who killed but, of the victims who must be remembered!
