✊ Want to try something different, learn new skills, meet amazing people and be part of a wonderful community? Join our team in Calais! We’re looking for long-term volunteers for our kitchen, no prior experience is necessary.

🥕 What to expect day to day:
Chopping / peeling / preparing vegetables
Preparing tea/coffee for communities
Dishwashing / pot stirring
Assisting on / training to cook main meals / carbs
Serving food in Calais town and refugee communities (full training provided)
Driving one of our vans (full/clean over 21 license required, training provided)

🏡 Where you’ll stay:
If you can commit to longterm stay, RCK have accommodation in Calais town that we can provide. When applying please state in your message if you would like to be considered for this. We can also recommend a number of residents that provide cheap accommodation for volunteers, as well as hostels/air bnbs nearby.

🚗 Transport:
We can help! We have a number of groups where volunteers provide lift shares over to Calais from UK. We can also help with navigating your way via trains/coaches/buses/ferries.

📜 Visas:
If you are a returning volunteer, planning to stay with us longterm and require a visa to stay in France, we can also help with applications so please don’t hesitate to ask our welcome team for further assistance.
