Lifestyle and Pet Photography inspired by my soul dog, Sterling in the Seattle area.

Going out to celebrate the New Year is so 2019! Celebrating at home with the dogs and having a mini photoshoot is so much cooler!

This is Walker, my personal dog. He was Sterling’s best friend. He is slowly becoming my best friend even though I adopted him almost 10 years ago. He loved Sterling more. I can’t blame him either.

I had fun with this photoshoot, more fun than he had probably. 😂

Celebrated the first of 2024 with this cutie.

Now I am looking into a soft light box for indoor photography. I am hoping to work more on my indoor photography this year and I really think good lighting will make a huge difference.

Thoughts? Tips? Suggestions? I am all ears.

Happy New Year! May all of troubles of last year be a distant memory and all your hopes become reality!

I love photographing this girl. She is my favorite photography challenge! She is so pretty but she doesn’t love to smile, look or put her ears forward but she has the sweetest face ever!

There’s nothing better than being your dog’s best friend and this sweet lady is every dog’s best friend.

Meet Sue, the founder and creator of , .supplements and .summitbars ! Born out of a love for her dog, she wanted to create something to help dog’s live healthier and longer lives.

I am seriously so honored to have been able to photograph this sweet lady.

I probably should have edited the leash out but I really prefer to edit naturally and keep things real. Maybe I will rethink this in the future or ask the client.

Did you know that today is National Canine Lymphoma Awareness Day?

1 in 3 dogs will get cancer. Lymphoma accounts for 15-20% of new cancer diagnoses in dogs.

Meet Sterling. Sterling is the dog behind our name. He battled B-cell Multi-Centric Lymphoma and was undergoing chemotherapy for it when he passed due to complications of his cancer.

There was no way I could let today go by without bringing some awareness to lymphoma. Sterling deserves that. He has inspired people all over the world and has left a bigger legacy than I could ever have imagined and we will continue his legacy by continuing to share his story of overcoming glaucoma, blindness, and IVDD before becoming a canine cancer warrior!

He is my biggest inspiration for life and photography.

I thinkI have almost as many photos of this girl as I do of my own dogs. She is a fun yet challenging girl to photograph.

Nuda

I thoroughly enjoyed being able to photograph Nuda when she opened for at Southgate Roller Rink last month.

Nuda is a solo Darkwave/Industrial artist that actually resides here in Seattle, Washington. She brings a “feminine touch” to Industrial music. I hadn’t heard her before this night.

This pretty girl Pebbles was recently diagnosed with mammary cancer and has her first chemo treatment on Wednesday.

Please keep her and her family in your thoughts.

How adorable is this little Jelly Bean?

I absolutely love the golden leaf covered trail and Jelly Bean thought it was his own personal catwalk!

Seriously enjoyed taking photos of Lead into Gold at one of the most fun venues ever, a roller skating rink.

Every concert we go to, we wish we had our cameras with us and this time I decided to bring a camera and it was totally worth it to capture Paul and Josh doing what they do.

This sweet girl lost her battle with osteosarcoma last week. She was one month shy of her 6th birthday. We were so grateful to have been given the opportunity to photograph Saba a couple of months ago for a rainbow session. Rest Easy sweet girl.

Got to try my hand at concert photography last night when we went to see ! It’s so much better with a camera than an iPhone. 😂
Also this venue was super cool and the most different show I have ever been to since it was at a roller rink.

Paul Barker was so incredibly nice and personable.

My apologies for my absence, we lost Sterling our wooly Siberian Husky on the 27th of August and honestly I have been struggling with any kind of motivation to take photos or post photos.
I have been very fortunate that multiple friends have been able to meet up and help me get outside with Walker so that I don’t sit with my grief. Sterling was my soul dog so it’s been a very difficult loss.
One of those friends is fostering this handsome young guy, Nozomi through ! This boy is very sweet and has so much potential to be an incredible companion for a family that wants an active dog to enjoy life together.

“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” –A.A. Milne

Kodi - one of our first dog friends when we moved to the Seattle area. and I met he and his parents and and and the first week we lived here and quickly became friends because of the love we have for our dogs. Kodi was the first of our group of WA dog friends to be struck by cancer.

We met up with him and his family and took some beautiful photos of the love they shared. We followed it up with taking photos of the dog friends together.

There’s something special about capturing candid moments during a photography session.

The moments that are real.

Happy International Blind Dog Day!

This day was created to celebrate the amazing things that blind dogs can do. Sterling started his battle with glaucoma in early 2018 and lost it late 2019 and went completely blind. It has never stopped him from being a ambassadog, hiking mountains, running with my husband to train for marathons or playing with dog friends. He has mentally mapped out the local trail system and the way to his favorite pet boutique.

Welcome to my photography account inspired by this Fluffy wonder…Sterling, my heartdog.

I am Lillian and I moved to the Seattle area from Houston 8 years ago with my rescue dogs Sterling and Walker. I’ve actually always been a little bit into photography, thank you dad but this boy and living in the Pacific Northwest has definitely fueled my passion for photography. I’ve been debating on creating an account for photography for a while and didn’t know what to do or where to start because I didn’t want to do just a Pet Photography. I want to take life style photos. I want to do street photography and concert photography, as well as landscape and urban photography. I kind of want to do it all.

Will this continue to just be a hobby or will it be more? I don’t know but for now… here we are.
