Since our is running, we'd like to introduce you to our collaborator, French-Turkish interior designer Zeynep Lecrosnier of Something New. With over 12 years as an interior designer, Zeynep will be consulting the lucky winner of our (to enter click this link: goo.gl/mQcxNQ ) with the design of their chosen room.

After studying in Paris, she became partner and artistic director of Paris-based Agence Soixante-Quinze, an interior design company.

After moving to Cairo, Zeynep created her new brand in Egypt called Something New, focusing on furniture design and interiors. As Zeynep was born in Istanbul, and she loves to mix oriental and Scandinavian design from the 1950’s.

وتتضمن شروط المشاركة القدرة على الرسم والأعمال اليدوية ،وأن يقدم المشارك نماذج من أعماله السابقة . يمكنك تحميل و ملء استمارة التقديم و تسليمها يوم الإثنين الموافق ٢٤ سبتمبر في مركز الفسطاط للحرف التقليدية في ١ شارع الامام، بجانب جامع عمرو بن العاص، الفسطاط، القاهرة القديمة.

We are now accepting applications to the 2018-2020 programme at the Jameel House of Traditional Arts / Cairo!

Applicants must be able to demonstrate aptitude in drawing and crafts and will be required to provide samples of previous work.

To apply, please download and complete the application form. The completed form should be submitted in person on September 24, 2018 between 10 am - 12 pm, when applicants will also undertake a drawing assessment, between 10 am and 4 pm at the Jameel House of Traditional Arts / Cairo, 1 El Emam Street, near the Amr Ibn El Aas Mosque, El Fustat, Old Cairo, Cairo, Egypt. Selected candidates will be scheduled for an interview with the selection committee on September 25, 2018.

مهرجان : غداً تقام ورشة تعليم الموزاييك او الفسيفساء وهو واحدة من أقدم الأشكال الفنية وحتى يومنا هذا لا تزال واحدة من أفضل الطرق لخلق الأسطح الدائمة الملونة والمعبرة أكثر من أي فن اخر. تدرب في تلك الورشة الفنانة شيماء ممدوح؛ حاصلة على ليسانس آداب إعلام، عشقت فن الموزاييك وقامت بدراسته والعمل فيه، شاركت بأعمالها في الكثير من المعارض والورش الفنية.
