Ontario-based Rehabilitation Center supporting horses who need fundamental changes for healing.
Silver Brook Farm, located in Tottenham, is home for horses who require a lifestyle with reduced grazing , and yet still the freedom to roam. Our track systems offer the horses space to stretch out, with slow feed netted hay located strategically to encourage movement. We also have healthy pastures for horses who thrive with seasonal grazing. Our boarders' horses are treated as family. Our facility is home to Natalie Zoratto of Regenerating Touch, offering bodywork, communication and energy based healing. Jessica Fobert is our onsite hoof care provider. Together we develop programs for horses who come in for hoof and lameness rehabilitation as well as horses and their partners looking for a peaceful place to enjoy time together. We offer a variety of clinics, and our welcoming Luna lounge is available to book for your own like minded workshop. Tip to Maintaining your tracks. Harrowing them regularly helps to keep the grass and weeds from establishing. Always do a rock and tree root walk after harrowing as rocks surface and roots can be exposed that are a safety concern.

Horses with navicular pain are more likely to recover when they are trimmed every 3 weeks max. At our rehab facility the horses with hoof morphology and/or pathology are assessed, and trimmed if needed every 10-14 days.
