I died and went to heaven! This is a pitaya (pink dragon fruit) bowl. A blend of frozen pitaya, frozen mango, frozen pineapple and coconut water (topped with kiwi fruit, raspberries, passionfruit, mint, granola and desiccated coconut). Thank you for this gorgeous creation that really does taste as good as it looks.✨

These cute little blueberry and vanilla muffins are so easy to make! • GF, DF, refined sugar free, can be made vegan ~ Mix: 2 over ripe bananas, 2 whole eggs (or olive oil can be used instead), 1/2 cup rice flour, 1/4 cup rolled oats, vanilla essence or paste to taste and 1/4 tsp baking soda. You can add honey, rice malt syrup or coconut sugar to increase sweetness. A splash of a nut or oak milk can be used if the batter is too dry. Place batter into patty cases on a baking tray. Add blueberries into the centre of the batter and top with dried coconut before baking. Bake on approximately 180°C | 356°F until a knife can be inserted and removed from the muffin clean and until muffins are golden. (Makes around 12). A recipe that can be played around with until desired taste and texture is a achieved and can be easily manipulated to suit dietary choices ✌🏻️

This is something my mum used to say to me when I was a child, which has stuck with me. Live food (food that is "alive" - comes directly from a tree or grows from the ground) provides us with the vitamins, minerals and nutrients we need to sustain our bodies, as well as water, antioxidants, antibacterial properties and more. On the flip side, processed foods (dead food) can cause inflammation, illness and disease and contain no where near as many of those good things that our body needs for the amount of energy (kJs) that we are consuming. Although difficult to completely avoid processed food, we should always aim to increase our intake of LIVE foods. 🍏🍇🌽
