Am I OVULATING?🤔💭

A woman experiences different types of discharge - thick, watery, light and even heavy, but not all of these discharges is as a result of ovulation.

Below therefore, are SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS that tell when you are ovulating:

1. TENDER BREASTS: Your breasts would get fuller, a bit swollen and sensitive to the touch. This could be a sign that your body is at its most fertile period.

2. HEADACHES: also referred to as menstrual migraines. Many women would experience headaches before or during menstruation. The capacity of the headache can range from light to severe due to the uneven rise and fall of hormonal levels in the woman’s body system.

3. VA**NA SECRETION/ DISCHARGE: This is the most common symptom of all, white, creamy discharge pours from your va**na. You have a consistent wet feeling in your va**na for as long as the ovulation lasts.

4. USING A BASAL BODY THERMOMETER: Another way of detecting your ovulation is by using a basal body thermometer to record your temperature. In a lot of cases, women’s temperature ranges from 96 to 98 degrees prior to ovulation.

5. OVULATION TEST: If all the above signs are not clear enough for you, you could purchase an ovulation kit and test yourself at home to be very certain that you are ovulating.

The test is conducted by peeing on the stick just like you would do in a pregnancy test.

This test is especially good for those trying to conceive, so you can determine your most fertile days and meet your husband on such days.

This is why CHILDREN 👶 CONSTIPATE:

SUDDEN FOOD CHANGE: The metabolic system of babies does not respond very well to a change in meals.
A baby who was strictly on breast milk or formula will have a hard time adjusting to solid foods, he or she may be unable to p**p for a few days or even a week, this is because the body needs time to adjust to the introduction of this new type of food.

INSUFFICIENT WATER: A child who takes insufficient water would likely experience constipation.

DIARY PRODUCTS: Cow milk for example belongs in this category. A child that consumes too many dairy products may end up experiencing difficulty with bowel movements.

INSUFFICIENT FIBRE: Eating less of foods that are rich in fiber, such as eggs and meat can reduce your child’s bowel movements and even make it impossible for him or her to p**p.

MEDICINE: There are some drugs that can make it difficult for a child to p**p. If you suspect that a certain medication is responsible for your child’s inadequacy to excrete, consult your doctor and he may require you changing that particular medication.

PROBLEMS WITH THE NERVOUS SYSTEM: A problem with the nervous system can cause a child to constipate. For example, children with cerebral palsy usually experience constipation. The reason why this is so is not completely clear but it can be adduced to the fact that they have limited mobility.

A**L FISSURE: A**l fissure is a small tear in the lining of the a**s. It is caused by continuous diarrhea and strenuous bowel movements, amongst other causes. A child with a**l fissure would have difficulty in passing stool.

To everyone planning on paying a NEW MOM 👶🍼 a visit, here are Unspoken Rules To Abide By:

1. Call before visiting - yes she wants you to see her baby but your timing may not be the right timing for her.

2. Wash your hands before holding the baby.

3. Do not carry the baby unless giving to you to hold.

4. Do not kiss the baby.

4. Do not make comments about the new mother's weight nor her baby's looks - she may smile it off but it would hurt her deep inside.

5. Stay home if you're sick even if it's just a flu so as not to infect the new baby. You can visit at another time.

6. Ask permission before taking pictures and do not use flash as it can irritate the baby's eyes.

7. Ask if it's okay to post on social media - especially if they haven't done that yet.

8. Smile and get along with the other visitors, the new mother definitely does not need any drama.

9. Offer to help, with dishes or any chore at all.

10. Do not overstay your visit, new moms need to rest.
