Quick introduction. Q has arrived. He made his way north on road transport over the weekend. The wee man is a cracker. Q will spend the night in our quarantine area because he arrived at feed time and all the craziness that goes with it. First thing in the morning he will have a bath, clip and we will see what is needed for the skin. His weight is much better than had been expected. As usual, it has been a pleasure to work with AWR. Danielle and I have been doing this now for around 15 years. Big thank you and hugs to Westie Rescue QLD 2IC Corinne Richardson for going and getting our lad. So stay tuned for photos after his Salon tomorrow.
Meet our wee man Scottie. Arrived this morning at the Hound House. For a 14 year old he sure is on the ball. Both he and Wee Jock have the most delightful characters. We are off to the vets on Monday all going well we will be starting the search for the perfect Hoomans to share their twlight years with. Maisie will also have a vet check and I will starting going through my folder for the perfect fit for her. Finger, toes and paws cross the weather Gods keep the rain away so we can organise some meets n greets. Hound House starting to dry out.
Operation Wee Jock has been successfully completed with the arrival of the lad. Jock is the wee man who found himself in the Bundaberg pound. It's has been a wonderful calibration of Rescue groups and Foster Carers. Thank-you Red Collar Rescue and to the super terrific Foster family of Nicole Lynch. Love the Westie Family. Big start to the with Jock arrival, however we will see another new member this coming Thursday the 14 year old Scottie. Looking forward to getting to know these lads. Scottie, Wee Jock and Maisie have vet appoint next Monday for a once over. Hambo update. Super happy with his progress given the current weather conditions. He has quite surprised us and is moving forward nicely. Stay warm and dry From All at the Hound House
Hambo update. The wee lad had a bath today and we had to clip him back. Skin is looking super terrific. Practically all the yeast has gone and skin is soft. He has amazed us with the turn around. Its now time to let the coat grow. His weight is perfect.
Our man Hambo. The improvement has been incredible. Has had his bath this week and looking dapper. We still have some yeaston the skin, however the skin is changing colour a very good sign. Ears are clear. The heat that was radiating from his body has dropped significantly. He is starting to get fuzz coming through another indicator the skin has no permanent damage. So all in all the wee man is grand.
