Juicin’ and flossin’, draped up and dripped out, this is your post-summer western gulf coast selecta.
Dive deep into Houston massive network of intertwining roads, its suave nightlife and legendary overweighted pimps poppin’ champagn bottles for the whole club, including some solid story tellin’ and strong PSA for the youth tututu.
It’s gettin' hot in here, you can’t escape the scorching heat of this humid bubble stuck between a skyscraper and a suspended highway. Just get some refreshment, poor a double cup of the finest purple drank, open a pack of jollyranchers, ‘cause you gon' sip lean all day long to set yourself on the correct speed and be at one with your environment.
In the lone star state we’re going 85bpm (on a more classical scheme, boom bap is 93bpm), this is straight southern gangsta funk from the third coast, it is slow as f**k and this is the way it's supposed to be. It was well represented during the 90’s with powerhouses such as Rap-A-Lot, Suave House or DJ Screw (and the "screwed and chopped" culture).

🐙 4 February 2020 was a memorable day for the world as the COVID-19 pandemic caused all casinos in Macau to be closed down for 15 days. Erik Serb and Huber Paramedic, are wanted on the island for repeated attempts of fraud and one count of arson, and can no longer hide at their favourite gambling spot, "Le Kenzema". They instead seek refuge on the Parcel Islands in the South China Sea. Welcomed by the wise Gandalf OG and energized with sufficient supplies of phencyclidine, they are sent on an important mission: bringing 10 liters of locally sourced eau de vie to Qassem Acidmani, a stateless covert agent who is known to roam around Islands of the Russian Far East. Fu**ed off their t**s on va**um, they board the Trance-Atlantic Express and end up in Clamart (92140) for the next two years...

🇷🇺🌚 Russian artist Chaotic Discord is a long time activist within his Saint-Petersburg local scene. He started digging and djing in 2008, then launched his Tsarskoye Selo label in 2019 (catalogue available for stream on the youtube channel).
The shadow player aims to keep it low profile, strolling alongside the Neva river to reflect on the melancholy of his grey city. This environment inspired him the minimalistic and airy sounds which merges perfectly with a strong Detroit techno/electro background.
A mature, skilful and humble mix.
