SPECIAL REQUEST FOR NOMINATION TO A MULTI- DIMENSIONAL CHAT AND REFLECTION FOR A TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION APPROACH TO OUR PROBLEMS. A YOUTH PERSPECTIVE:

Background:

This Conference was called at the instance of Hon. Daniel Reyenieju, (Member representing Warri Federal Constituency in the National Assembly) on the 3rd day of February, 2018 with select opinion leaders of Itsekiri ethnic nationalities to brainstorm on strategies for identifying and addressing; in a practical and sustainable fashion, the multiplicity of problems facing the Itsekiri nation.

Having executed the stage 1 of the conference, we are now preparing for the 2nd stage targeted at the youths of the Kingdom.

We acknowledge that every youth in the kingdom is entitled to a sit around this table of discussion. However, to invite all the youths in the kingdom would be practically impossible for the sake of organization, logistics and space.

To allow for wide inputs and consultation we hereby open nomination for participation in this stage of the conference billed for the 16th day of February, 2018.
a) Warri South: 30 persons
b) Warri North: 15 persons
c) Warri S/W: 15 persons
d) Itsekiri Community/Settlements in Edo State and others 8 persons

Provided that a person may make more than one nomination but shall not nominate him/herself under any circumstance and each nominee must:

1. Be of Itsekiri ethnic extraction
2. Be a youth
3. Originate from Warri South, Warri South- West, Warri North and any other community/settlement of Itsekiri people in Delta, Edo, or any other known state were Itsekiris are resident.
4. Be knowledgeable in the history, nature and scope of youth and associated crisis in the Kingdom
3. Be willing and prepared to dedicate reasonable time and attention for the activities in view
4. Be able to fluently speak ITSEKIRI language, Pidgin English and /or English language

Note:
Nominations will be closed as soon as the required number of nominees per category is achieved.
