This is a full-time position. Currently, the anticipated workload might be less than 40 hours/week, so the remaining time is spent on self-learning.
Working days: Mon – Fri.
You don't have to work EST hours, but still, we'll have calls and chats, so there must be a time overlap. Most often, the calls happen between 10 AM – 1 PM EST.

Experience:
An excellent understanding of .NET with 5 years+ commercial experience
Experience developing bot/automation technology in Microsoft or Google Cloud Platform

It's been tremendous two years since we took the most daring and challenging decision of our lives. We were all settled in our respective career progression when we decided to resign from our jobs and start our accounting outsourcing practice. We had no idea about how this roller coaster ride would feel like. However, we had trust in our capabilities and our business model which was a great source of motivation to move forward.
We were lucky enough to have mentors around us who had constantly encouraged us to move forward. With several restless days and nights, we have proven ourselves to be an ultimate success where we have increased our head-count significantly.
We have achieved a lot in the last two years along with several learning opportunities. We are hopeful that we will continue doing great things for our people, our customers and our profession as a whole. It wasn’t possible without our teammates who share our ideology and worked hard to sail the ship and our valuable clients who allowed us to prove our professional competences.

1. Team Members: As most of the organizations invest heavily in technology so that they are protected from external cyber threats, they normally ignore the fact that one of the biggest security threats is their internal employees. Their scope of causing the damage comprises from erasing data on your PC to hijacking and attacking other systems or sending spam, sharing illegal content, etc. Besides computer viruses, malicious software can be dispersed through a form of spyware (which collects personal information and passes it on to third parties), adware (displays pop-up advertisements), fake security software, and browser hijacking software (changes the browser settings).
We at A*O, implement the procedures for the reasonable set of security defence system to make sure that security & integrity of your data, programs and operating systems remains our priority. This set comprises of:
Fortinet Antivirus Security System - protects against the latest viruses, malware attacks, spyware, and other content-level threats. It uses industry-leading advanced detection engines to prevent both new and evolving threats from gaining a foothold inside the network and accessing its invaluable content.
Fortinet Firewall - controls Internet traffic to protect the network from external threats and also possess deeper inspection capabilities that give them a superior ability to identify attacks, malware, and other threats.
IPS and IDS – Frequent monitoring of networks to detect any signs of violations or security threats and prevent the incidents from happening by spam filters, Data Loss Prevention Software (DLP) & Security Incident and Event Management Software (SIEM).

Evaluation and Upgradation of the Overall Security Level: As we are aimed for the best possible data security, we conduct an internal security assessment of our IT infrastructure to ensure that we are continuously revising and updating our information protection and technical security policies. Also, we are very much keen on evaluating potential security risks and create data mapping specifications on a frequent basis.
Analyze Ending Points: We are very determinant in analyzing our third-party service providers (SaaS providers) to assess who has the access, information is stored to what extent, whether all ports are protected. Further, we ensure that all of our devices are compliant with corporate requirements and the networks and servers which are integrated with clients’ devices are secure. While conducting regular internal security training sessions to raise employee’s awareness is one of our most focused areas.
Administrative Controls: are always vital in creating efficient guidelines and security standards in order to deal with an organization’s sensitive information. A*O defines the scope, purpose, and key elements to develop a chain of coherent security policies such as Information protection policy, Internet usage policy, Password policy, Corporate email policy, System access policy.
Technical Controls: are focused on preventing overlap and restricting access to systems and confidential information. We assure to implement an access control mechanism such as dual-factor authentication, monitoring of internet traffic through proxy servers, Using Microsoft Active Directory for centralized management of workstations.
Data Security: Having let the employees work from home, we have ensured that the data either stored in their computer’s hard disk or a cloud drive with encrypted security. Each storage is password-protected which only the employee and employers can have access to it.
Cybersecurity: We have made sure that all employees have secured VPN, anti-virus and firewall installed in the systems that protect them for their entire operation.
Work collaboration: As our employees already using several tools such as Slack, Zoom, WebEx and Skype for communication and G Suite for documentation, so the working collaboration did not become a victim of the pandemic situation. We are also using the screen monitoring software to track employees’ attendance and activities. This helps us to have an overview of their performance. Also, the tasks monitoring tools, helps us keep track of the progress of the entire task/assignment and delegate tasks to the team.
