I served two tours in Afghanistan, and was discharged from the military from injuries I picked up there, so this project hits close to home to me.
I didn't completely come home from there, and there isn't a week that goes by where I don't catch myself wishing I could be back over there, helping protect the Afghans as their nation is rebuilt. I've felt like its been treated as a losing cause far earlier than it should of, that people were too quick to abandon the people of Afghanistan. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for getting some recognition to the people on the ground there who work their hands to the bone trying to get the word out. You guys deserve more than what I've got.
