The Promise Keeper "
Life is about trust and striving seriously hard to keep the trust. Like faith, our trust must be in God.
Robert Greene wrote.
"Never put too much trust in friends, learn how to use enemies"
Be wary of friends -- they will betray you more quickly, for they are easily aroused to envy. They also become spoiled and tyrannical.
But hire a former enemy and he will be more loyal than a friend, because he has more to prove. In fact, you have more to fear from friends than from enemies.
"Think about this.

INGRATITUDE:
Ingratitude is thinking nothing of what has been done or given to you by God or fellow human. It is the state of being ungrateful or unthankfulness.
God knows how we are made, and He designed us to thrive when we are humble, moral and thankful. However, when we are arrogant, immoral and ungrateful, we cannot have fellowship with Him nor can we experience all it means to be created in the image of God.
Ingratitude, therefore, is a sin with severe repercussions. When you know God but refuse to glorify Him as God nor give thanks to Him, then you are ungrateful, hard hearted and proud.
Jesus asked , "were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?" This showed His disappointment at the ingratitude of the majority.
Sadly, ingratitude is found in the people who have made it or who erroneously believed their connection, "power", skill or talent have given to them what they have.
You may say it does not matter, but it matters. Paul in a rhetorical questions admonished us.
"What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not?"
When we remind ourselves often that all we are and all we have is a gift from God, then we are guarding ourselves against idolatry and pride.
Ungrateful people are never satisfied and are never happy with what they have. Equally, ungrateful people are never happy for others. "It should have been me", they murmured. Ungrateful people are always unappreciative and tend to be negative and critical , constantly finding fault with others.
In the book of Daniel, chapter four, the king spake , saying "Is not this great Babylon, that l have built for a royal dwelling...." While the word was still in the king's mouth, a voice spoke from heaven: The kingdom has departed from you.
Let us be humble and not to give credit to our little hands , brains and connections but in all things to give glory and thanks to God.
PRAYERS:
Father God let our crown of glory be to your glorification in Jesus name.

April, Our Month of Rising.
"Arise and shine for thy light has come". This new month, good news of divine lifting shall be our portion in Jesus name.
Rejoice in the Lord, again l say rejoice.
The joy of Lord is your strength.
My new book "The Mystery Pond" is going to be another classic by all standard.
The book aside from the cultural and tourism exposition which has been the author's expression of the need to tap into these gold mine as a way of promoting our culture internationally, and raking in the economic benefits of tourism through effective management of our natural resources , delves into the hydra headed problem of organized corruption for monetary gains.
Birthed on the heels of a call by the United Nation Millennium goal six short story on clean water and environment, "The Mystery Pond" showcases the twin devil of ignorance and wickedness in a community that was expected to lead other communities in the area.
Through ignorance, corruption crept into the community that was hitherto a model in agriculture and other industry. Through corruption , wickedness and man inhumanity to fellow humans was magnified.
"But how did they ever think this heinous crime can be covered", Chief Okono, stressed again.
"It had to be a mystery, if not the people will not believe" an elder chipped in.
"When the gods wants to punish a man, they exchange their brain with coconut water", an elder in the group stated,
" Maybe that is what the gods did to the three foolish men who were expected to live above the board", he concluded. There was laughter as the people dispersed to their various homes.
