The Law of Attraction for kids. In our latest episode we talk about the power of positive thinking and how thoughts become things. Michael Detrick, author of “Think, Think, Think: The Law of Attraction for Kids.” He has a bachelor’s degree in metaphysical science, over twenty years experience working in nutritional and natural health, and is a grandfather.
With his father being in the American military during Michael’s youth, Michael travelled to many different places and experienced lots of cultures. Michael wondered if there were any materials written specifically for kids about the benefits of having a positive attitude but did not find any, which inspired him to take it upon himself to create this resource.
The main character in his book thinks negative and fearful thoughts about a bully in his neighborhood, but then stops himself and begins thinking happy and positive thoughts. Michael shares his writing process, writing style, and what he wants children to do after reading the book. He also educates us about why silliness is so important for kids and parents.
About the author Author Michael Detrick lived in several countries while growing up, which instilled in him a great love for all people and cultures. He discovered his passion for creative writing at a young age. His mission is to share inspiring truths with the youth of the world. He enjoys his work in Integrative Medicine along with his doctoral studies in Metaphysical Counseling. Dean Vigyikan, from Western New York, created the book’s artwork. He grew up studying drawing and painting and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. Vigyikan’s paintings, drawings, and sculptures can be seen at www.deanvigyikan.com.
