Brittany courageously and boldly confronts the generational trauma often associated with birth in the Black community by reclaiming her rites of passage through self-advocacy, research, education and reconnecting to her ancestral traditions/rituals.

Brittany will also dive into how her giving birth, gave birth to an evolved Brittany stirring up her passions to become a leader in the Black Maternal Health Community.

Lots of good energy coming our way!!! Yay! I hope in this new month you play in the impossible! Your dreams, goals are STILL possible.

This month I’m birthing what it means for me to surrender. These last couple of weeks my mind has been too preoccupied with the future. The ‘what’ and ‘how’. I been stressing myself out! I want to be in control of the final outcome, but we all know that things don’t always go as planned.

Therefore, I plan on surrendering to the present moment. Do what I can, when I can and be MORE than okay with that.

As we are still navigating our lives during a global pandemic and civil uprising, please remember to be gentle with yourself.💖

While Kimberly served 7 years for Uncle Sam she was battling with homesickness, the stigmas of being a Black womxn in the military, sexual harassment, depression, alcoholism and varied deaths. Her desire at this point: “Life is too short...I’m just going to live”.
