Modified the new laser engraver machine to cut in 3D. This is the first try and still needs some work to make it right, but exciting to see the progress.
Running the CNC with a manual spring loaded chuck to "feel" the drill in this 316L stainless steel 3D printed watch case and get it ready to threadmill.

It is bronze. The case and parts were 3d printed in wax, then packed in sand, then hot bronze was poured in and burned the wax out, leaving this one-off build.
Quite good detail.
If this gets enough attention, I will offer it as an option for ordering.
A 3d printed watch needs a 3d printed movement holder for the Swiss Sellita mechanical movement.
Testing SLS nylon vs SLA to see which is better. Either way, much lighter than the machined steel one!

Changing the way you can make watches.
Specialty designed (by me) strap tip, 3d printed in 316L stainless steel. It allows for 20mm of adjustment (10mm per side) simply by depressing the spring bar and moving it forward or backwards.
