Exotic Melodies will be travelling to Nanango for their first concert on Saturday 3rd of June, 2023, at 2 pm, performing at the Nanango Catholic Church. Refreshments will be served after the concert, so we hope you will stay around, have a cup of tea and meet the artists. If you haven't got your tickets yet for this concert, they are still available for purchase. Adults $25, Concession $20, Under 18 years $15, and Children under five are free.
We want to introduce our third Soprano for our upcoming performance of Exotic Melodies, Shantelle Shore. Shantelle has been a singer all her life but also has played the violin and viola in various orchestras around South East Queensland in addition to her singing performances. Please watch the video to meet Shantelle. Tickets still are available for the concert for $25 Adult, $20 Concessions, $15 Under 18 Years and free under five years. We hope to see you then. Calista Walters is one of our fantastic Sopranos in our Exotic Melodies concerts in Nanango and Toowoomba on the 3rd and 4th of June 2023, and we want to give you a sneak peek of one of the songs she will be performing during the concert. Yesterday, we introduced you to one of the three Sopranos, Cassie Midgley, who will be singing in Exotic Melodies. Today, we would like to give you a sneak peek at one of the songs Cassie will sing, though today, Renee Fleming is singing for you. We certainly are looking forward to hearing Cassie sing this beautiful aria, Depuis Le Jour from Louise, by Gustav Charpentier.

Here is another song from our Exotic Melodies concert coming up in June. Schlaft Sie? Though sung in its German here, we will be doing an English version. The melodies are beautiful, with a gorgeous blend of harmonies for three soprano voices. Tickets are on sale now, and we will be doing two concerts, one in Nanango on Saturday 3rd of June 2023 and one in Toowoomba on Sunday, the 4th of June 2023. You can't get more exotic than the Lakme's Flower Duet, but the beautiful and talented sopranos in Exotic Melodies will be performing this piece as a trio. It is set to be an extremely beautiful concert. Here is a clip of the Flower Duet from the OU Opera's performance of Lakme in 2008.
