It's been an amazing week for football! Yesterday, my son was on the national news talking about Kobbie Mainoo, and then England clinched a thrilling victory against the Netherlands last night. Today, I've had the pleasure of personalising this winner’s T-shirt with the score and goal scorers from Manchester United Women's FA Cup win. Fingers crossed the men's team can match the incredible success of England's women's team from two years ago this Sunday!

After dealing with someone posing as me a few weeks ago on Facebook groups, now my Instagram has been suspended. Let’s be honest, my Insta account was about as lively as a library at midnight, but I did enjoy the amusing reels that people sent me on it.

Today I locked myself out of the house. I had to wait for my eldest to get back from school to let me in. Good job she listened to me lecturing her this morning on always remembering her keys. My post run was then much later than usual but with my little helper we made it before 5.

I think I could predict the Manchester weather on a Wednesday evening better than any weather forecaster.

Happy December everyone. Our Christmas elf has brought the kids advent calendars this morning and so the major countdown has begun. Another countdown here is to Wednesday 7th December, this is the day I will stop taking orders for postal deliveries on Etsy, so if you would like to order anything please don’t leave it too late.

The Communication Workers Union (CWU) has called on its members to take strike action on the dates publicised. This is going to have a huge impact on Christmas shopping deliveries. I will endeavour to post items as quickly as possible but it is likely that these strikes will cause delays, so please remember when possible to order well in advance.

Finally the sun is out, it’s time for my little plants to make their way back around the house after a winter of surviving on the kitchen window ledge, it’s the only place with enough sunlight to grow.

Happy Friday/New Year. After a hectic end to 2021 it’s been nice today to finally get out in the fresh air. Birthday season starts here with most of the family having their birthdays by the end of the month, starting with this fella turning 40 tomorrow. Hands up if you have the fun of January birthdays in your family.

It was late in coming but the Christmas rush is definitely on now, so in order to get your orders out to you in time for Santa AKA Royal Mail to deliver them, this Friday (3rd December) will be the last date for Christmas orders. Some items are already low in stock, so if there is something that you would like to order please let me know as soon as possible.

Unfortunately I won’t be able to take any custom orders until the new year.
