Simba’s Pride: FRR’s Lion King litter
Updates on a Freedom Ride Rescue small breed foster litter that will be available for adoption mid-September 2020.
Simba is the big guy! His chubby puppy belly and short legs make him a cutie. He loves to interact and will sit and watch people hoping they give him the attention he would like.
Sarafina is our princess. She and Simba are the two largest of the group weighing in at 2.5 and 3 pounds at 5 weeks. Sara is vocal about what she wants and holds her own with her four brothers.
Rafiki is a quirky little fella who loves people! Like most puppies he is curious and loves to chew on fingers, toes and anything else he can find. He’s a bit of a troublemaker and likes to aggravate his siblings as they fall asleep.
Meet Pumbaa, a little guy with a big personality! He is much like his buddy, Timon and loves a good snuggle. He’s got a darker brown coat with a tan muzzle. Pumbaa is not as adventurous as his movie namesake, but he’s plenty of fun.
This is Timon. He is aptly named because he looks like his namesake, a meerkat, and he’s got a pretty funny little personality. He loves to be held and will snuggle up for a nap if a lap is available. He loves his siblings and is often found curled up with his bestie, Pumbaa.
Freedom Ride Rescue picked up some precious puppies this week from the shelter. We think they are between 4 and 5 weeks old, and they are TINY! They range in weight from 1.4 lbs to just over 2 lbs. we aren’t sure of their breed, but think it’s definitely a small breed based on size. They will be available for adoption in about a month!
