It’s a beautiful Saturday for Friendsville Days.

Local friends, it's a beautiful day to visit historic Plumb Grove Mansion - this afternoon 1-4pm. Along with a host of crafters and artisans, Twentey Treasures will be in the Social Room with a collection of Trish's classic, boho, and summer-simple handcrafted jewelry!

Focusing on tiny beads was a great distraction from today's heat. 2mm faceted Black Spinel compliment 4mm AA grade faceted Emerald rounds. A single 6mm prism faceted Emerald drops to a hand-wrapped stainless steel cross focal.

Going into inventory for upcoming juried shows is this Chinese Jade and Polychrome Jasper grouping. The natural jade exhibits impressive character and pairs perfectly with the subtle tones of natural polychrome, one of the rarest jaspers. The adjustable slider bead earrings are jade, while the leather teardrops are jade with polychrome. The always-popular wrist huggers are polychrome. All hangers, spacers, chain, and findings are stainless steel, my norm.

We finally have most 2024 events confirmed, so . . . hope to see friends, old and new, somewhere along the way.

It's a midsummer chakra blend of natural gemstones: Moonstone, Amethyst, Lapis Lazuli, Prehnite, Citrine, Garnet, Peach Moonstone, grounded with Black Obsidian. The necklace has a strong magnetic clasp and stainless steel dragonfly focal. Bracelet is an exposed wire illusion design, also with a magnetic clasp. Earrings are an unbroken circle. Dare you to find the end (not under the hanger bead).

Here's a natural Blue Apatite ensemble. Using fancy paperclip chain, the necklace is adjustable from matinee length to princess, or even choker. Bracelet has about an inch of adjustment, too.

Natural Malachite with tiny Green Agate on a stainless steel wavy paperclip chain adjustable from 16" to 20". Like all the colors in nature, green goes with everything.

Simple 2" drops - Red Creek Jasper on leather, handmade stainless steel ear wires.

Local friends: Our fundraiser for Meritus Auxiliary is this week - Wednesday and Thursday (25 & 26) 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. We will be right inside the main entrance of Meritus Hospital in Hagerstown. We would love to have you shop with us if you can. A percentage of all sales will benefit the good works of Meritus Auxiliary.

We will be at Bedford's Fall Foliage Festival this weekend. Look for us having fun with our Seasons of Bedford partners under the big green canopy right across from St Thomas Church parking garage.

You really should visit Sharpsburg Day tomorrow. Promises to be a fun day. Ron and I will be there with lots of other artisans and crafters set up around the square. It’s not too early to start Christmas shopping . . .

Started out to make just one neckpiece with blue apatite today, but these absolutely gorgeous beads just wouldn't let me quit. We will have these beauties at our Meritus Hospital Auxiliary fundraiser this week - Wednesday and Thursday 9-4.

Looking forward to Old Market Day in Chambersburg this Saturday. Will have a couple new jewelry designs, customer favorites, and some of Ron’s nature photography in notecards and on canvas.

We’re delivering this batch of Trish’s leather and gembead bracelets to Penn Alps Restaurant & Craft Shop tomorrow, just in time for Memorial Day weekend travelers. Left to right: Chakra, Blue Labradorite, Paintbrush Jasper and Obsidian, Peach Moonstone, Carnelian, Chinese Jade. The ones with tails are square knotted, others are illusion woven. All have loop/button closure.

I love the veining in these natural Rhodonite beads. Often, minerals such as this metamorphic stone, which falls into the “rare and exotic” category, make such interesting wearable natural wonders.

The necklace is about 17-1/2”, with hand-wrapped Rhodonite beads connected to a decorative non-allergenic stainless steel double-ball chain.

Non-allergenic stainless steel earrings drop about 3” of Rhodonite rice beads with wonderful matrix (veins).

The multi-wrap memory wire bracelet alternates stainless steel beads with 6mm and 8mm Rhodonite rounds to show off this really cool mineral’s entire color range in one piece of easy-wear jewelry.

A natural Porcelain Jasper 40mm almond-shape focal with an 8mm Rhodonite round drops about 2” from a 20” braided black natural leather cord, finished with non-allergenic stainless steel hand-wrapped bail, clasp and accent beads.

Added a few illusion-woven bracelets - Lto R: Peach Moonstone, Chinese Jade & Obsidian, Labradorite, White Moonstone, Polychrome Jasper, Red Agate - to the selection at Appalachian Station Trading Post in Smithsburg/Cavetown. Really a unique shop!

Just finished this natural Lapis & Labradorite ensemble for the Meritus Hospital Auxiliary Spring Fling fundraiser in April. I think it came out nicely.

The necklace is adjustable, via slider beads, from choker length to about 24" plus dangles, which are also adjustable. It's also convertible from lariat style on the left to traditional on the right (with the sassy dangles dripping down the back). I paired it with a simple memory wire single-wrap bracelet and front/back earrings, which are also adjustable via slider beads and convertible by wearing a different stud with the dangle back or a standard earnut with the dangle front.
