Zilphinie “Fennie” McDaniel Crosby, 86, the widow of Hal Gandy Crosby, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at her residence.
Mrs. Crosby was born the daughter of Cola McDaniel and Willa Mae Cook McDaniel on August 29, 1931 in Horry County. She was a member of the Andrews First Pentecostal Holiness Church where she faithfully served as a Sunday School Teacher, Women’s Ministry and was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. She was a devoted wife of 61 years, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and loyal friend.
She leaves behind: two children John Milton “Radar” (Sharon) Crosby and Mae C. (Ronnie) Hutto; a daughter-in-law, Rachel B. Crosby; eight grandchildren, Lee (Patty) Hutto, Lisa Hutto, Sabrina (Jeremy) Walker, Kerri (Allan) Lynch, Angel Crosby, Lonnie (Meyling) Crosby, David (Kelly) Crosby, Nicole Crosby; and nine great-grandchildren, Ronnie, Sereana, Seleana, Gavin, Ronnie, Courtney, Wyatt, Rey, Logan, and Dylan.
She was predeceased by: her parents; her husband; two sons, Randy Crosby and Danny Joe Crosby; a grandson, Chris Hutto; and three brothers, Joe McDaniel, Cola McDaniel Jr., and Buddy McDaniel.
A Home Going Celebration will be 5PM, Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Andrews First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial directed by McKenzie Funeral Home will follow in the Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
The Crosby family will receive family and friends prior to the service from 3:30 – 4:30PM in the church sanctuary.
