Happy St. Patrick's Day from the ASCE Denver Branch!

While also being the patron saint of Ireland, St. Patrick is the patron saint of engineers! St. Patrick spread knowledge of technologically advanced building methods he learned in Rome throughout Ireland while he served as bishop in the 5th Century. His teachings have been reflected in many of the traditional stone churches seen in the countryside of Ireland. He was later deemed the patron saint of engineers by the Catholic Church.

The ASCE Denver Branch and ASCE Denver YMG will not host in person meetings until further notice. This decision comes on the heels of the CDC’s recommendations for social distancing and limiting group gatherings due to COVID-19 and Denver's restaurant closures. In the spirit of ASCE's Canon 1, we are committed to protecting the health, safety, and welfare of our members and the community.

As the situation evolves, we hope that you take this time to stay healthy and reconnect with your family and friends -- be it at home during dinner or via digital means.

We will continue to monitor the situation and suggest our members stay informed and follow CDC and CDPHE recommended guidelines.
