In January 2010, I had just moved to Washington, D.C. As the playoffs rolled on, I watched the Arizona game at a bar by myself. The bartender accused me of having money on the game because no sane person lived with every play of a 31 point blowout. It was the kindest thing anyone has ever told me. I consumed a metric Holland’s worth of Heineken alone in a new apartment during the NFC Championship Game. I flew home to watch the Super Bowl at a family party. I hugged my dad before Porter made it to the endzone.
